is it just me, or is this little piece of sloganeering the most contrived and obnoxious espn1000 rejoinder since the "remember the time you've spent listening to..." campaign? mac and i share the same hometown. there are no corner taverns around here, and the last one was torn down ten years ago. i don't get the point of this trite little tagline. like jurko, i wish it would come to an end. |

me and mac share the same hometown. there are no corner taverns around here, and the last one was torn down ten years ago. that's why WE are the last one. it's a figure of speech, fellow trojan. and by the way, i applauded the day rigby's met the wrecking ball. i was aging fast in that dump. |

i know it's a figure of speech, but it's cheesy and overarching. it sounds like it was harry's idea. |

If you don't like it, why don't you pull up a chair in the afternoon saloon. |

hubert, Your name is cheesy. I applaud the name of the last neighborhood corner tavern. It's inviting, cozy, and their brand of talk fits the name perfectly. Hubert change your name. Until you do, you sir are a loser. |

I often choose my eatery's and products by the slogans they use. Geez, if it was not for the slogan "I'm lov'in it" I would never go to Mickey d's... |

"Welcome back to the Chicago Sports Exchange." I believe I am the only person that ever listens to that show. But, I flipped on WLS about 10:30am a couple Saturdays ago and that real estate guy has a show on there from 10-12. So, he's on the radio from 8-12 every Saturday morning. Not only that, but he switches from a sports show to a financial show midstream. Damn, that guy is talented. |
