There's no event today. You're in studio. The goal was to talk football for the first two hours and then we get this Tony Romo interview that was done earlier in the week to help fill in the rest of the time? It was probably aired twice before because it was in the post-game show. Please tell me it won't be in tonight's post-game show as well. Not a fan of this move Mac. I can't stand repeat interviews to begin with and as a fan let it kind of go during an event so you guys can mingle and piss for 20 minutes straight, but today? Ehh... |

I thought I heard it that night. Three times in one week. I'm sorry that's unacceptable. Don't be pissed Mac, we just have higher standards that three plays of an interview with Tony Romo. Is this Jurko's Eastern Illinois influence and doing? |

Mac could give a crap. He's been mailing it in since the suspension. Just back up to the pay window, Mackiefish. |

He does seem a little worn down or tired. He's made the statement a few times he just wants to go hang out with his buddies who don't care or want to talk about the show. Sometimes job, life, or just shit gets to you. We've been poo pooing a lot lately and I don't think he gets much support from his bosses. I could see why he feels down if that's the case. |

I'm not endorsing playing the interview 3 times or some of the other stuff. I just think there is more going on. |

I don't know. He seemed to be in awfully good spirits last week when we were at Ditka's. Maybe this post game show stuff is getting to him... |

Did you expect him to growl at you and tell you to fuck off? Since you haven't been calling/writing lately maybe he was happy to see you. |

No, but its usually pretty easy to tell when something is bothering Mac. Other than post-game, I got nothing. |

He said it to me at a Shoeless remote about 2 years as I got under his skin. Mac's fine ....When you stop boozing as he's done you get a bit moody.I've been a prick all week from drying out from Saturday. BTW, The Romo interview was pretty good as I missed it during the week and thought it's a great way to kick off the weekend and get ready for Bears vs. Cowboys. They have done that a few times this year where they re-rack an interview from the early part of the week. It's Friday Ryan get over it. |

its been replayed already and you can podcast it. no need to waste an entire segment of an in studio show replaying that interview. |

My Dear friend Woodie, What, are you so damn important that you cannot listen to 5 minutes of reruns? Perhaps Mac had some raging diarrhea. It is not like he can just play "The End" or "Riders on the Storm" and go have a 20 minute poo. I know, maybe you just need to settle down and remember that there are other people out there with needs that may or may not work in your best interest. Your Dear Friend, Evil J.A.C.K. |

Actually, I would have loved playing ANY Doors tune. Nice call. Lemme say this one more time and I never will address it again. It is presumptuous and inaccurate to think a high percentage of our audience heard the interview. Getting a guy like Romo on the show doesn't haven't happen every week. Today, more people got to hear him on with us. I stand by the decision. And that's all I have to say about that. Ever. As ofr "mailing it in," .... not a chance. I never have been more focussed or more driven than I am for this fall's book. We lost in the spring and we aren't going to win the summer book. We WILL snap that streak at two this football season. |

Maybe, if you get rid of Harry, your numbers will improve. Here's a poll question you should put on your site- Keep Harry- Can Harry- Let the audience decide, kind of like the old Roman's did. |

If they are going to have a re-run hour from 6-7 each night, and advertise it as the 'best from today's show', there is no justification for replaying the interview. |

That's fine Mac. I just assumed you would even admit playing it three times in one week is a bit much. |

You fucken losers who have no lifes from 2 to 6 and listen every minute of every day must get over the fact that not everyone sits behind a computer with their pants around their ankles and hears every interview we conduct...... No charge Mackey.. |

Ha, thanks STU for the translation. I just don't know of any other radio show that I've listened to that will air the same interview on their show three times in one week. |

Nice to know that you have no f'ng idea why your ratings are slipping. You are one of the few. |

You are one of the few. you're like a broken record. there are people out there that love harry's schtick. axing him would cause the ratings to drop further. |

Ryan...you are usually right on point with your posts and emails. However this time you are off. It isn't like we replayed just any interview three times. It was Tony Romo. You know, the starting QB for the Dallas Cowboys..."America's Team." We LOVE the fact that you listen to the whole show. We also know that listening to 25 hours of us a week isn't possible for everyone. Replaying an interview with a top guest is both good for the show and our listeners. I'm sure if any other show in this city talked to Romo they would have replayed it too. |

IIRC it wasn't even that great an interview. If people do miss it, isn't that what the podcast is for? Better off replaying Heavy Fuel Crew material or Murph soaping up in the Cubs dugout |

Zederman- I'm going to continue to challenge you and Mac on this one. You guys had Romo on last year if I remember correctly. We're acting like the guys interviewed Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. Even then, three times!? I think that's the point the two of you fail to really acknowledge. I've never had a problem with a re-rack. But a re-re-rack? Not necessary. As for any other show in the city playing it three times? Ehh, I'd like to see how the others feel about that. Truthfully and honestly I've never heard any show play the air the same interview three times. There have been bigger guests before bigger games that haven't had their interview played three times in one week...hell, in three days I believe. Yet for whatever reason The Great Tony Romo is the "biggest grab for an interview in Chicago Radio history." Obviously you guys think it's fine and that's really all that matters. I'm just shocked that no one in the building even considers that a third time might be considered excessive. Sorry Z, I'm still not listening 25 hours a week. Maybe this one should have been left alone on the Post-Game show and done on Friday. Again, I don't challenge the re-rack. I do think three times is ricockulous. Just like me repeating myself in this thread. |

He hasn't even been a starter for a year and he's best known for dating hotties and having a bigger fumble in the playoffs than Grossman, why would I, as a Bear fan, need to hear him multiple times? |

BD, That's when they originally re-played it. In the post-game. We agree to disagree fellas. It's a push. On to football this weekend. |
