Nobody can succeed in the offense. Moreso than the QB, the OLine better goddamn be the main priority next year. |

how and why the fuck should the D get a pass? they sucked just as much as the offense. piss poor tackling, let owens get open all game long, urlacher may have had his worst game as a bear. there was nothing positive about this game. even gould kicked a ball out of bounds. offense couldnt do jack shit. benson fumbled again, fighting for what, 2 feet more, hester thinks he is god now, recievers dropped balls, everyone missed blocks, archuleta couldnt have tackled jurko or harry. the only thing the bears won in was fewer penalties. |

Nas wrote: The defense gets a pass because they at least had a reason to be bad in the 2nd half. They might play 2 bad games the whole year. Therefore with the offense ( if you can call them that) being as bad as they a have been the whole year I won't blame the defense for having a bad half.
Im with Nas on this one. 3 points goin into the half, though it should have been more for multiple reasons, and your offense cant stay on the field so it tires you physically and demoralizes you mentally, plus you suffer alot of injuries. Defense gets a pass on this one. (except for Archuleta. Send his ass out of town on a rail.) |

ill blame the D for the missed assignments leaving guys wide open and the poor tackling from everybody all nite long. as bad as rex and the offense played, the D takes the heat here more than anyone. |

are you serious???!!!! More than Ron Turner, Benson, Rex, The WRs, the Line?? You cant make that claim, unless you expect the D to hold every opponent to 7 PPG or lesss. |

the defense was terrible all game. they were lucky to be tied 3-3 a the half. everybody on offense who tried to block and touched the ball was bad. everyone on defense was awful just the same. |

I've never seen a defense play terrible where they give up 3 points in a half, get after the quarterback, and virtually lock down any sort of running game. Are you SURE you weren't on crack watching this one? |

In Franks defense it easily should have been 14-3 going into the half, and thats not counting Ron Winter blowing that call more than I have seen a ref blow a call this year, which is saying something. |

2 halves of football. obviously the run wasnt working, so dallas made *gasp* adjustments at halftime (i guess NFL coaching staffs outside of chicago do this with some regularity) and torched the bears secondary. no consistent QB pressure and missed tackles were a problem all nite. you dont have a WR put up 150 yards and a QB throw for 300+ yards and 2 TDs against you and tell me the defense gets a pass. |

I don't disagree, but your statement before was they were terrible all game and that just not true. |

they had a good first quarter. they were bad after the 3rdf or 4th time dallas had the ball. why do i get a bad feeling that this year is gonna be just like 2002 |

no defense would have done any better last night; when your offense is turning the ball over as much as the bears were last night, you're doomed. wrecks has to go now. |

wrecks has to go now. Wow, was this from 2007 or 2006? Looks like nothing has changed in a year. You can blame Rex, the D, the O-line, etc. It begins and ends with the coaching. If Lovie, Turner, Rivera (oops) think everything is working and they just got some bad breaks, they should all be fired. |

seriously, this has to stop. there is no reason to start the kid anymore. there hasn't been all year, but lovie is loyal to such a fault, he's costing them their season by continuing to start grossman. |

Your defense if going to look really bad when they are on the field most of the second half, and loose 3 pro bowlers! They shut down the run in the first three quarters, but in the fourth quarter they were exhausted. And if Tommie Harris is out for the season...they are done. |

Me too. I thought they'd be good this year on offense. I really did. Clearly, I was dead wrong and they are utter garbage. |

Look, the D is the heart of the team - no question - but they looked like they needed a refresher course in tackling last night. Worst tackling I have seen out of that unit ever - Urlacher included. Marion Barber almost pulled a Bo Jackson-vs-Bosworth on Urlacher in the 4th. Pathetic effort by the whole team. They ALL get the blame. |

I'll put this all in a little nice bow and put in perspective for you guys. The Bears are following the script of the last 5 NFC Champions and their spitting the bit and like Seattle, The Panthers, Giants, Eagles and Rams the injuries are starting to pile up and teams are catching up to the Bears . I don't know how teams like the Pats and Colts , Steelers keep reloading every year but the Bears just don't have the talent this year on the offenseive side of the ball and now that the defense has lost Briggs, Vasher, Brown and maybe Tommie Harris it's time to start looking at other options at QB. Your two games behind the Packers already and who would of thunk that after 3 games. |

OK, Nas... now really convince us and admit that Rexsucks. I'm not blaming it all on Rex... he's getting a lot of help, but I think we've all seen enough to hope he's not on the team next year. |

you cant blame this all on rex. he's awfulno doubt, but everyone on that offense is bad. if brian griese gets in there next week, thats a step in the right direction, but lets face it-- he's still gonna be throwing to the same bad WRs, the same bad O-Line is gonna be 'blocking' for him, the running back will still most likely be butterfingers. |

The whole team blew it. Rex was playing like an assclown, the O-line was soft, the recievers couldn't run a route if you gave them a map, and the Defense was either sloppy (missed tackles) or they weren't agressive enough (they let Romo run free, even though there seemed to be ample opportunity for them to knock him on his cocky ass). While I usually don't condone fan violence, when I saw TO mouthing off on the sidelines when Dallas took their big lead, I had wished the fans would have started pelting him with batteries. |

Until the Bears O-line proves that it can win an individual matchup, I'm ready to see the max protect set with 2 TE's & just Wolfe in the backfield on 1st down. Bench Moose and give his touches to Bradley or Hass. The guy hasn't been open all year long. Next time I see a Bear fan in an 87 jersey, I'm pointing & lauhing out loud. |

I loved seeing Olsen and Clark on the same side of the field split out and slotted. that was great. run that set more often with Berrian split out on the opposite side of the field. I can't remember if it was a two-back set or not. |
