Thumbs up to Mac for that column. At least someone in the media has the grapefruits to not blindly back up "one of their own."

Mac's column in the NWI Times wrote:
I have two words of advice for my media brethren who were so offended by Gundy: toughen up.

My analysis of this incident is quite the opposite.

1. His voice crackling, out of control, whiny melt down was absolutely pathetic. A complete loss of control for a guy who is supposed to be the leader of young men. He really should toughen up.

2. He called the article 3/4 fiction. The writer challenged him to point out that 75% and he said he didn't have to. That's the classic sign of a wussy. Fire off at others, but shut up when asked to back up your charges.

He's a man? He' 40?

No. He's a baby. Toughen up, loser.
