I thought you guys would get a kick out of the fact that the last two rows of a plane headed out to Phoenix last night had Mac, Boers, Jurko Bernstein, Drinky and Harry on it.

I told Mac that if the plane went down the afternoon drive was fucked. I just hoped that Boers kept his pants on during the flight.Should be some good laughs on the show today about that flight.

I really feel badly for the flight attendants that had to deal with them because of their attitudes towards women.

If they are going to fly southwest they have to get to the airport earlier.

As long as they scoot and get the guys their drinks on time, there won't be a problem.

I heard due to Bernstein's big head, his ego, and the weight of the men in the back of the plane the pilot had to fly the plane at a slight angle.

I figured that B&B would be taking the short plane...

Don't you mean, "the manner in which the English language is best used"?

They are, but keeping it with A, B, and C seating. There will just be categories within each one so those morons won't feel the need to camp out for 2 hours so they can be "first" on a 45 minute flight. I never understood those people and fly all the time. I'm always A because I check in online and am guaranteed a window or aisle. So I sit and relax, read, whatever and when the A's are almost done I get up and get on the plane. Why sit on the floor for 2 hours? It makes no sense. I do like open seating though and always stay away from fat people, teens, and screaming babies. Other airlines, you're screwed.

Of note, Bernstein tried to get an upgrade on the flight... don't know if that says more about him or more about the company he had to keep on the flight.

A little bit of both. It's been well documented that
1) Mac and Boers are very good friends
2) Mac and Bernsie are NOT.
3) Bernsie grew up in Northbrook from a well-to-do family, attended a high priced collge in Duke, so was probably well accustomed to "Fatha... !" type requests.

NO! NO! NO! One of the reasons that SWA is near the top in terms of "on time arrivals" is that they can turn around a plane twice as fast as their competition. While the concept of open seating would seem counter-intuitive in this regard, it has withstood the test of time. As Hawkeye noted - if you check in on-line 24hrs in advance, open seating offers even more advantages.

Maybe so, but he's got plenty of people in AZ who will corroborate that he wasn't involved with the murder. I think Bernsie is an ass, but I don't see him killing anyone.

Ed,
Are you out in AZ for the games?
There was a close up of a guy on TV last night all decked out in Cubbie blue who looked like some of the pictures posted here.

Man, if that was you, than you must really be pissed about cigar-gate

My mistake... Factually Speaking, Deerfield is correct, but really, is there a difference?

No, not out in AZ. If the Sox were out there then I would of been out at Chase park for sure.

Funny you bring this up Rob, I'm not bullshitting you guys but as I walked in today from playing golf a DHL package was at my door and I opened it up it and it had an authentic "JOE FUCKEN CREDE" SIGNED jersey in it from my season ticket rep David Elkin with a note from the Sox with an apology for loosing my stuff. My buddies made mention to Dave about this in July to see if he could find anyhting out and he told them he'd look into it. I'm totally blown away by the gesture.

I'm sending a note to Reinsdorf about what a great gesture his season ticket rep did for me.It wanted you guys to know this.

For those who don't know I sent Joe Crede 2 boxes of cigars for himself to enjoy and two World series photos asking to be signed and he lost them and I sent a note and it was never answered and the 3 other guys I share season tickets with told our ticket rep about it and he went to Joe and got a signed jersey for me. I never wanted anything but my photos back and for this kid to do this is one of the coolest things anyone has ever done for me.

BLOWN AWAY !!
