I listen to the segments with Bruce Levine, but I always turn off the radio for a second or two right before they say "BRUUUUCE."

Mac's references to Al Michael's "special pillow." I don't think Mac is too different from Al in needing everything to be just so. That reference could be put on ice for awhile.

Mac's reference to MJ being a geography major because he "likes to know where things are." It was funny 8 or 10 years ago...not so much anymore. Plus, it takes way too long for Mac to explain before or after he says it.

Any of MJH breaking into song as a play one someone's name. WAY too reminiscent of Chris Berman's tired schtick.

I think ditching some of these, at least for awhile, would make the show seem a little fresher...

...or not.

I actually like the MJ/Geography one.

I could do without the Carlos Lee Leaky-Leaky highway anytime somebody calls from I355.

I was never a fan of the "not so much"...too belittling. And that's saying alot because I'm a condescending asshole. It can go the way of the "air quotes", yadda yadda and changing words to sound like Snoop Dogg ie fo shizzel...
Okay, maybe I'll keep the last one.

I also can't stand when Mac says "Mundelein" in his Mike Tyson voice.

Shouldn't this be in the "I'm not busy at work and want to whine about the most obscure BS possible" forum of the message board?

The Cubs are in the playoffs folks, isn't this a time to EMBRACE sports radio.

Speaking of 'embracing' - doesn't Mr. Goat look a little TOO friendly with Mr. Cub:

You're right, this should be in the Cubs Section.

Any time anyone sings.

"Rosemeisen"

Any time Harry gushes about one of his pals (Trachsel, Wuench, et. al.)

Mac talking about his high school football glory.

Mac telling us he's not a basketball fan. Believe us, Mackiefish, we know.

Ouch...Coming from someone with the time and inclination to have multiple identities on said message board, that really stings, man. :)

any Bill Swerski's Superfans DA BEARS shtick

jesus, the sketch was like from 1991, it was funny like the first time it was on SNL (we get it Chicagoans are fat sausage eating beer swilling blue collar guys)

now its just tired rehashed old radio, not very engaging and not very interesting at all.

Mine would be Harry would talks about instant replay in baseball, he always says not on balls and strikes, we know it wouldn't be on that just homeruns and safe or out. Another Harry thing would be and I'll preface this by saying , he doesn'y sat it much any more, when he would say it's just opinion, so it doesn't matter what we say, my thought that just loses all the credubility when you say that.

For Mac- when talking about Marathongs, he makes the same joke about we would run, but the ice cubes won't get to the glass sometime, the main reason is not to sound stupid, but I don't get the joke.

Yep... and everytime they do it, I immediately punch the dial to B&B, which explains why I've listened to that show a lot more the last year or so.

I actually like the "words that would sound funny if Mike Tyson said them" stuff.

Sometimes, I lie on my back with my knees up to my chest and see how many Chuckles jellied candies I can balance on my scrotum while thinking of words that would sound funny if Mike Tyson said them.

So far I've come up with:
"Boutros Boutros-Galli wears funny pants"
"Lilly Lake Lane" (the name of the street my friend's folks live on)
"ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny"

Just as you know if there is a Johnny Depp reference, that Harry will mention that he loved Depps work in Edward Sizzorhands, except for the disturbing masterbation scene.

I think that's the only bright spot in the whole Cubs collapse, no more TOD.

Not the only bright spot-perhaps the best benefit, is that we don't have to hear those commercials for the Bank, with the two "WOOing" idiots. With their "Foam finger-check," and all that crap. That ad must have been written by a Sox fan, who was actually making fun of Cub fans with that commercial.
