He just said Thomas Gardener would make the team over Duhon. Gardener might make the team, but Duhon is without a doubt making the team.

Yeah, they're not about to throw away $3M when he has a lot of value to them (as an expiring contract).

Actually he said that kid with the dunk-or something like that. It was Mac or Harry that had to give him Gardeners name. Lets not give Jurko more credit than he deserves. The thing about Du is can he stay healthy? His back has been a problem and as players get older, those kind of problems tend to get worse.

True on all accounts, but Nash was known for back problems before he went to Phoenix.

I've watched Steve Nash. I know Steve Nash. FavreFan, Chris Duhon is no Steve Nash.

(I don't really know Steve Nash. You Lloyd Bentson fans get what I'm talking about)

Anyway, Duhon is slightly below average. But I agree that he's definitely making the team. Skiles likes him for some reason unbeknownst to me. So does Paxson.

All I see is an average defender who can't stay healthy and a bad shooter who takes too many shots. That's not what the Bulls need.

They also don't need Joakim "Tyson Chandler with a pony tail" Noah.

I think we would all agree if he turns out like Tyson, especially with Ben on the downside of his career, thats a great pick.

On to your Duhon point, what backup PG's are significantly better than Duhon? He definitely would be a very below average starter but he doesnt turn the ball over much, has a pretty decent AST/TO ratio, is a pretty good defender, has a very good basketball IQ, and yes he is a bad shooter. He also rebounds well for his size. Im not saying hes very good, I personally am not a big Duhon fan, but I think he would make every single team in the NBA's top 12 right now.

Snow circa 2001 was pretty good. He was pretty instrumental in that 76ers team's success.

absolutely. he was the point guard iverson needed. a guy who wouldn't take a lot of shots, handled the ball very well, and was a great defender.

but unlike duhon, eric snow can start on my team anytime.

Throwing this out there for all the Duhon haters:

Name 10 backup PG's in the NBA?

You can't without looking up depth charts for each team.
You know why, cause the all suck as bas as Duhon does, if they didn't the'd be starting on some other team. With all the combo guards, and G/F combos in the league, the PG position has as little depth as the Center position.

I'll take a crack at this:

1. S. Blake
2. G. Payton
3. T. Hudson
4. Q. Richardson
5. E. Snow
6. S. Parker / D. Fisher
7. P. Hardaway
8. D. Armstrong
9. S. Claxton
10. A. McKie
11. E. Boykins
12. B. Sura

Blake and Fisher are both listed as starters on their depth charts (had to look it up on CBS sportsline). Q plays small forward with Starburry and tiny Nate getting the PG minutes. As for the rest of the list Only Boykins & Smush are ranked above Duhon.
I don't like Duhon much of the time either, but of all the options out there he's not that bad.

This is unfair. I saw Noah successfully dribble the ball a single time Wednesday, so he can't be Chandler with a pony tail.

Musty Rob---Thanks for taking care of Linda's list for me, Q as a PG...(shakes head)
