What does the ESPN 1000 management do over there? Give us a report. Maybe get an interview with Pastor or Craig. |

STU is a grandfather? You move through generations so quickly you should change your moniker to fruit fly! |

A great time and a big thanks to Danny Zedderman and Finji and Wally(aka the Walrus) the intern for allowing Stu and I to invade their space for 4 hours .It was a treat to watch how these guy fly the plane and what they do is a big part of MJH success. Zedderman is a riot in dealing with the goofy calls he gets with all types of listeners busting his balls on why he can't put them thru to the boys. Finji is great and does all the drop in's and has a pretty tough job with running the board. Both Danny Z. and Finji have their shit together and work great together to pull this thing off on a daily basis. A few funny things that happened was Jurko coming in during the break and shitting his pants and having Stu walk into it after a Cig break with Mac and me messing with Zedderman when I knew what the answer was to the Bears trivia question and walking out in the hall and calling the station from my cell phone and giving Zedderman the answer before they even asked the question on the air. He freaked out and asked how I knew the question before they even announced it.and had no clue it was me untill I walked back into the studio and told him it was me. I messed up Harry on a live read for a sponsor as I flashed a picture of him and the flash blinded him and screwed him up as he could not see that copy. Mac and Stu bonded with Cig breaks every hour and STU got on Harry nerves a few times as well and Adam Delelvett is the best..He set us up with a ton of ESPN swag and Hawks tickets and we spent about 45 minutes hanging out in his office shooting the shit. Meeting Howard Griffth and putting on his Superbowl rings was pretty cool as well. Again a big thanks to MJH and staff at ESPN for a VIP afternoon with a great bunch of guys. I'll have photos up later on today as my day is pretty busy . |

Sounds like a good time Slappy. I don't think anybody really appreciates all the stuff the guys do behind the glass. An added bonus meeting Howard Griffith too. ..and the Super Bowl ring was an added touch. VERY NICE! He's been an awesome addition to the show - and I'm not even a huge fan of college football. It's pretty clear Griffith does, and he is passionate about it. |

Hey all just want to post a HUGE THANKS to Mac, Jurko, and Harry for a great afternoon. As Slapshot alluded to, we were treated like royalty. THIS IS A TEAM EFFORT to get this show on everyday, the only difference between players is there paychecks. Finji manages to know exactly what Mac is thinking and where he is going to go before it happens; a feat that has puzzled most humans, all while consuming some great smelling chicken dish from Smith and Wolinski. Danny Zedderman works in a two foot space with more things happening at once then a trader in the thirty year bond pit and never missed a beat even while sharing it with me (we where VERY CLOSE for four hours. He is definitly the "make it happen" guy of the show. Dan keep getting those guys to mention sponsers. Wally, the intern; this guy takes so much shit and handles it great. He is like a bulldog when he gets a task, cruising through tons of data to make sure the guys have the right information. I was told he is the best intern they have ever had. Jurko - THANKS I always look forward to seeing you but, do us and yourself a big favor.... SEE A DOCTOR YOU HAVE DIETARY ISSUES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HARRY is like a cocker spaniel, all over the place and very busy, but once he sits he is very FOCUSED ( lappy ) thanks Harry for a nice day. Adam I can't thank you enough! The swag was huge and totally unnecessary my daughter grabbed a tee as soon as I got home. that will be like negotiating with a terroist to get back. My son took the book to bed with him...thanks again. MAC I told you yesturday...you look marvelous! I have known you for a lot of years and have seen the many images of Mac; we joke back and forth. With that said, you have come a long way you can see it in your growth and it has had a great effect on the show. You're having fun and it shows Thanks again for a great day! |

Nice pics Ed. What, no pictures of Harry ? The MJH swag does look pretty nice. STU definitely has some Nicolas Cage in him. |

Mac is the guy who had dropped a lot of LB's.His pants were falling off of him yesterday . Stu told him to go get a blood test. |

Stu Gotz (part of the Mac and Jurko sammich) appears to be the love child of Gumby and John Diehl aka Cruiser from Stripes - I could only find a picture of him as Zito from Miami Vice though: Nice jumpsuit your frontrunner Slap Nuts. Does Pete Carroll's wife know you stole it from her wardrobe? |
