Harry came out of the box claiming that yesterday's Bears game was one of the top 10 best Bears games ever !!!!! Put down the double with cheese little fella as this game was good but not even in the top 50 games. I'll give you my top 10 1. Superbowl 20 2. Bears vs. Radiers 1984...People were taken off on strechers that day. 3. NFC Championship game vs Rams 1985 4. McMahon off the bench and throws 3 td's to beat the Vikings in 1985 on Thusrday night. 5. Last years NFC Championship game vs Saints 6. Payton rushing for 275 yards vs Vikings 1978 7. Bob Thomas kicking a game winning field goal in an Ice storm in the medowlands circa 1979 and vaulting the Bears into the playoffs 8. Seahawks vs Bears 2006 playoffs game winner in OT 9. 2006 COMEBACK VS Cards last year on a Monday night 10. Bears vs Packers at Lambeau in 1985 when Packers go after Bears. |

1984 NFC divisional playoff victory over the Redskins. Really, this was the coming out party for the Super Bowl team. Todd Bell put a hit on Joe Washington that I can still feel. 1985 regular season win over the Raiders. Up to that time the Raiders were known as the bad boys of football. They beat you and beat you up. The Bears pummeled the bully. They knocked out three QBs causing Ray Guy to take snaps at the end of the game. 1985 regular season victory over the 49ers. Ditka gives a big fuck you to Bill Walsh and The Fridge is created. |

He actually said it was one of the top 10 Bears games in Soldier Field history. He's still over the top though . |

Bears didn't play the Raiders in 1985. They played the AFC East that year. (Colts, Pats, Jets, Dolphins, didn't play Bills) Shutting out the Cowboys in Dallas was that "We're the new kids on the block" game that year. The 49ers win was the F U to Bill Walsh. But the 49ers weren't falling off. Montana won two more later that decade. |

Bam Bam Bigelow passed away a year or so ago. Tiny would have to get someone new, The Rock and Stone Cold both experimented with big screen projects. |

44-0 over Dallas was in 1985. I think of the Redskin game as the coming out because it was the first taste of postseason success that ultimately led to 1985. They beat an established team on the road (in the incredibly difficult RFK) in the playoffs. Was the Raiders in 84 as well? I have it as an 85 game but I'm not sure. I never said the 49ers were on the down side. They had embarrassed the Bears in the NFC championship the year before. That is why the victory was so sweet. |

Raiders must have been 84 cuz they didn't play them in 85. My childhood Bears memories start in 85. Plus, as a kid, I watched the 85 championship Bears video about 100 times. They recap the season and I remember every game because of that video. |

They had to find Ray Guy who was hiding behind the bench and get him to QB as the Bears had knocked out two Radiers QB before the first half.. McMahon had his spleen servered in that game also. |

fog bowl both comebacks in 2001 (49ers and browns) were better than yesterdays last year's MNF game in the desert yesterday's game was entertaining but it was ugly and the bears had no business winning. |

How about the KC Chiefs game in 1977? It took a last second pass from Avellini to I believe Bo Rather for a 28-27 win. The game made the Bears 3-5 and we did not know at the time they would run the table and go to the playoffs. Another would be the loss in Baltimore in OT. I think around 1982. Da Coach was so upset; he punched a locker and broke his hand. |

I remember that game as Jiggs was called for holding 3 times on 1 series in that game but later redemed himself offering his size 64 coat as a bed spread for a needy family in the 1978 coat drive. |
