Please tell Mac that Harry is not the chick magnet on this show. I'm not sure which of the 3 would be, but it's not Harry! |

In the case of this group, the one with the biggest wallet would be able to attract the most women...which means Jurko could attract more than flys on the open market. |

Free booze will do that to a person. |

One thing I have going for me is my willingness to humiliate myself. I'll be put on the tee like a Titleist and swatted 300+ yards for this thought, but like they say, if it helps just one person..... You guys know what women want? It's kindness. Being thoughtful and making a woman laugh are better than money and good looks. If you pay attention. you'll notice more average looking men with good looking women than the other way around. Why? Kindness. Kill them with kindness, fellas. Now tee me up. |

This goes two ways: From the men's perspective they are much more likely to immediately dismiss potential partners based on appearance From the women's perspective, they are subconsciously seeking security, which can take many forms (physical strength, financial preeminence, etc.). The attractiveness of the mate is important but balanced against his ability to provide security resulting in the "outkicked his coverage syndrom". Kindness Stop taking those estrogen pills. They are messing up your mind. |

Beef likes to set the tone early in a relationship. Be kind early on, let them win at competitive events. Then slowly ratchet down on 'em. Let 'em know you're gonna do what you wanna do when you wanna do it. Mr. Mac is right though, early on - humor and kindness go a long way. Then when you've got them addicted to you, introduce three-ways and four-ways with other women, and of course the video-tripod. Plus it gives 'em somebody to talk to while you sleep or watch football. Courting a lass is like fishing. |

Agree with your perceived security thought two posts ago, GD, but why the negativity regarding "kindness?" I didn't have you pegged for a guy with an above what's healthy machismo quotient. |

Now tee me up. Being a "B" list celebrity (you've moved up a letter ) in the city of Chicago , I figured you had your pick of the groupies hanging outside the Emily Barr center... Slappy has told me that you have out kicked your coverage in marrying the lovely Sherry. You don't fancy me as a lamp-shade on the head type or a romantic... So how did you trick the wife into marrying you? |

Just having fun. Kindness works well with both sexes as well as most animals. The people who throw a wrench into the system are those that equate kindness with weakness. |

I have high standards. I'm not going to lower them. Problem is women have high standards too. That's also why I'm single. I'd rather be happily married then happily single. But remaining happily single is fine by me too. |

Yes, Doug, I've said that. You told me at Shoeless Joe's you know the exact dimensions of your next girl. If memory serves... she is short... slight of build, but perhaps muscular in the ass, but the type one might call "a spinner." You specified hair and eyes color... that she must have large breasts. I say open your mind to "all comers" and lighten up. For many "perfect" women, there is a guy at home bored to death doing her because he IS NOT IN LOVE WITH HER. Physical attractiveness fades fast. Being true friends lasts. I'm guessing your first marriage didn't die because of the bedroom, but more because of events outside it, which constitiute 99 per cent of our relationship. Been some time since I played Dan Landers. Kinda like it. |

Kindness is dangerous. It may lead a man into deep depression if practiced unjudiciously (within the context of this thread.) |

Many women will seek out security but those relationships are rarely happy ones. Ask Slap Shot Ed, he seems to have a lot in his neighborhood. Kindness, is not weakness, unless you allow yourself to be walked on. A lot of men let women get away with way too much if they are a nice piece of ass. I wouldn't say kindness is it but Mac is on the right track. I've been to remotes. Harry tells women they are lovely and beautiful and they flock to him. Whoop a dee doo. There are contributors to MJH on this board I'm more attracted to than Harry. |

Been some time since I played Dan Landers. Kinda like it. I've just been Dan Landers-ed i did say all those things. some of which were based entirely on finding an opposite. "I'm done with the blue eyed blondes." i'm open minded (or at least getting better at it), but being attracted to each other is ultimately where it starts for everyone. figuring out the friend stuff comes after the "wow, she's really pretty - i want to talk to her." i'm not 6' tall. if I were there would be more "fish in the sea" so to speak. I could handle the 5'10" girl. but, i'm not. so, i like the 5'4" 120lb spinners. the opportunites to meet women is my current dilema. my close friend group consists of engaged or married men. but, i'm working on that... Once at a Red Ivy remote Mac has told me I have 'Outkicked my coverage" lol. and he may have been right, she was hot and a great personality, guys hit on her all the time and same with a few other GF's, always got hit on with bullshit lines. Plus if you ever worked in a bar and sat behind the bar, you can hear line after line. From all of this I developed a theory, the hotter the chick the more screwed up she is, because she has been told so much bullshit she has no idea what to believe anymore. Thus if you can get in the "honest" column and you don't look like a troll, you are in the game. where you go from there is all you. (I once got a date by telling a girl she dropped $5, just gave it to her, told her it fell out of her pocket, walked away, then later made the move, worked perfect!) |

Yes, I recall when I was "between marriages." Meeting people is tough. Bars suck for it. Most of us don't do church socials. I met Sheri when I least expected to -- took my kids out for dinner and went to the bar to have a smoke and was introduced to her by a mutual friend. That likely is how it will happen to you, save the kids part. |

Or you wrap about $40 bucks in singles around a $100 dollar bill and hit the Viagra triangle on RUSH Street Dougie and tap some of that 40 year old ass. They want to take care of young guys like you and boy the wet finger in the coolie runs rampant down there. They are off the hook nasty. |

The writing off of the bar scene has always baffled me. I met my wife in a bar (Lounge Ax) and we're married seven years now. The way I see it, I know what kind of person I am and which bars I like to frequent. Why wouldn't you consider meeting someone at the same type of establishment that you enjoy? |

Bars are great. In the unfortunate event of rejection there are always TVs and a selection of adult beverages to numb the wounds. |
