Well with the success of Silvvy and Waddle the ratings period in Feders piece clearly shows that WMVP has trounced the Score 1.7 to 1.5 .. MVP shot up from 1.3 to a 1.7 and the Score fell from a 1.6 to a 1.5..

Mac how did you guys fare? I heard you mention you guys were #1 again.

I didn't see the breakdowns of any day-parts, including our own. I was busy washing my mouth out with soap between 12:45 and 2:00. All I know is we were No.1 among men 25-54 in afternoon drive. We had a 5.9 rating in that demo, our best number in two years. I don't know yet the order of followers or the numbers that were posted. The only other nugget I heard is that Mike and Mike posted a 5.4 in the M25-54 demo and that blitzed North's show. There will be an hourly breakdown released later today so we'll know more of the specifics, like how our station did between 9 and noon.

You know the dialogue between Paul Rudd's character and Seth Rogan's character in "Forty Year Old Virgin:" "Do you know how I know you're gay? You like Asia (the band, not the country)." We all think that's a stitch. It's off limits. The short end of it is exactly what I said on the air: we need to tone it down.

By the way.... you know how I know Harry is gay? He thinks Mark Grace deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

You can't say that? Good God, I mean, Good Gracious.

Can you say "Dr. Kenneth Noisewater" on the air anymore?

I don't get it Mac. Gay jokes are made about Silvy add day. Is it the fact that they don't want you to say the word gay? If so, that's pretty burrito.

Mac you should ask this question on air, I'm sure it will go over well. I can't believe they are giving you shit about playing that clip. They're trying to turn you in to Mike and Mike?

Does beating your one and only competitor by two tenths of a ratings point really constitute a trouncing?

Congratulations to Mac on his ratings success. Imagine what he could do if he didn't have to carry so much dead weight.

Just say "burrito" Mac. ESPN won't know what you mean, but we all will!

Considering where ESPN was after the last ratings book, it's a comeback victory - not really a trouncing. The hourly trends may paint a different picture though.

I'd imagine MJH and B&B would benefit from the collapse of the yakkers at WCKG.

Doesn't B&B use the word "gay" routinely? I don't listen to them anymore, but I remember they used to throw that around all the time.

Yes, but they aren't under the control of Disney. Different ballgame I'd imagine.

I would go on to say I think this is more than just a sit down on the term gay. I can't imagine that would alone put Mac in a sour mood over the meeting.

I think ESPN believes things have just gotten too easy for Mac and the boys and want to increase their level of difficulty.

Next they will want them to be first in the male demographic without using the word "the" or the letter "L" or umlauts.

Actually B & B have toned down the use of that particular phrase for quite some time now. No explanation - but it seemed pretty sudden and noticeable to regulars like me so I'll bet something was said. Jason's thinly veiled reference to Troy Aikman yeaterday was pretty funny though - leading Boers to say he wouldn't go there.

Any truth to the rumor that Disney wants you guys to change the name of the show to "The Afternoon Salon"?

I heard Dahl mentioned some on-air guy at KISSFM 103.5 got busted having sex with a 13 year old boy, so I punched the dial over to that station this morning to see their take on the story.

What were they talking about?

Clean shaven snatches and kickstands.

So I'm confused... is this a DISNEY / ESPN Law, or an FCC Rule?

Hell, I couldn't believe the crap I was hearing - and this was at 7:30AM. References to pubes in the mouth, pubes getting in the way, clean shaven makes it look bigger from guys, clean shaven makes it look younger and cleaner from women, some citing it's better hygiene, etc. etc.

"Shocker" is on the banned list of words at ESPN. Any combination of the two words "pink" and "stink" in the same sentence will be similarly punished.

Hey Mackey let's get the Rosemizen or UC for a hockey game again.

You have that pull now that your #1 again. The Hawks could use a couple of the guys from this board for a few lamplighters.

Hope you like the Adam Delevitt avatar Stu put up.
