talk about beatin a dead horse...but i think a lot of us corner tavern regulars felt this way: yes, it wasnt in the best taste. there are dozens of things that are worse which are said on air daily, but thats besides the point. he was docked a few days, and then 2 extra weeks. the latter part of that punishment was ridiculous and totally unncessary seeing how as the only reason it came about was because her husband called into complain. if ESPN had any balls, they would have said the 2 day punishment was sufficient, and stood by their #1 ratings grabber. instead they hung him out to dry. |
