Sorry Mac... A moment of silence for your Green Bay Packers is in order. Goober Manning Jr. and Plaxico Burress had the games of their careers - and the Giants 'bend but don't break defense' continued their stalwart play, and the Giants were able to overcome: > A TD called back for (cough) holding... please. > Two RW McQuarters fumbles > Two missed FGs > and an obvious offsides by KGB on a critical 3rd down The better team won today - no question about it. On a bright note, the Bears could beat either of these teams next season - no question in my mind. |

Mac, This just has to be eating ate you. Eli Manning in the Superbowl. Brett Favre, not Manning, making the last mistake in the game. Awww.... Tears in Mackeyland. |

A weird game, The Giants basically dominated the first half, down 10-6, come out get a touchdown on a first and goal that took 3 plays with all the Packers penalties, then the Giants stop them and Madison gets a 15 yard penalty. Giants go get a touchdown, intercept Favre and then RW fumbles the ball. As mentioned, RW fumbles again just about when he is about to break it to the endzone, miss 2 field goals, and your thinking in overtime with a 47 yarder, this will be missed, he makes it and the Giants are going to the Super Bowl. |

On behalf of all Bear fans - thank you Al Harris! I especially liked the way you took yourself out of a game played in sub-zero temps w/ cramps.... CRAMPS!!! How appropriate!! What a little girl.... |

I think Al Harris is a great cover CB, but this is the second time he's been ABSOLUTELY OWNED in big games. T.O. ate him alive down in Dallas, and Plax destroyed him today. What a great football game, that's all I have to say. |

I posted this in the NFL section too: Farve looked like he mailed this game in too, just like the one here in Chicago last month. Take that Driver TD pass away, and his numbers were; 18/34, 146 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT Those are numbers you would expect out of the Bears inept QBs. |

Plax owned! Nice game by Eli. Is there enough room on the Bears Bus (you know, the one we run off of) for Mac next year? Mac, go freeze your ass off cheering for GB. Stay up there foo. |

Bottom line in all of this you have the most fucking annoying people in the county with the New Englanders/Boston and New Yorkers and you all can have this Superbowl. The Packers shit the bed and the best thing the Giants did all year was show up and played the Patriots to the wire in the last game of the year which gave them the confidence to blow thru the Pokes and Packers and Goobers little brother has turned in to the #1 draft pick he was supposed to be. I'll root for the Giants and all I want is a good game come Feb 3rd. |

As I left the home of my friend in Kenosha and set to hit I94 East I pulled alongside an SUV with an Illinois tag and a G on the car and I immediately thought of Mac... and then I proceeded to point and laugh at them |

Here's a web poll suggestion for today: What was "REDDER" at the conclusion of the NFC Championship Game: Tom Coughlin's wind chapped face or Dan McNeil's surly red ass |

Another reason to hate the Bulls this year. |
