I think Justin Tucks perfromance is as equally dominat as in any Super Bowl. 6 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumbled. He was in Brady's face all day and easily could of been MVP ,,

He averaged 13 -plus yards a pass completion. How is that managing the game? Sounds like he was throwing the ball down the field and taking risks. That pass to Tyree was of the jump-ball variety. How about that pass to Burress into double coverage by the end zone when Toomer was open on a middle route? Game management?

Anyone who says Eli managed that game is just a close minded Manning-hater. I dont like Eli, even went as far as saying that him going to Lambeau against Favre was like bringing a knife to a gunfight. The fact is that Eli drove his team down the field twice in the 4th quarter to win the game. Thats not managing the game. This game was won on his arm and the Giants front four D linement.

You manage a game by being mistake free and making great reads and descions while in the pocket. It has nothing to do with stats ..He went out and excuted the game plan that was manged for him.. He was lucky on a few passes but he's not the gun slinger his brother is nor the student of the game Peyton is either but and my point was again is he is a QB not blessed with great talent around him and he manged his team down the field in that final drive.

I agree Mac. When you consider all the factors in this game I think it was the greatest Super Bowl ever. That Manning scramble and catch was certainly the greatest play in Super Bowl history. No doubt in my mind about that.

+1 Stu. Manning obviously made some incredible plays down the stretch, but I doubt they would have been in a position to take the lead if it wasn't for Tuck and the rest of the Giants front 7 who were in Brady's kitchen all day long. Tuck gets my MVP vote as well.

I think Eli Manning deserved the MVP. Tuck and the rest of that line are a close second. Tuck's individual effort is not greater than the sum of its parts. See Ryan, I may not long to be one of Mannings' oreos, but I am not totally blinded by my hatred.

Stu, don't you take more risks by throwing the ball farther down the field as opposed to opting for several little dump passes? He wasn't just taking what the defense would allow (dump offs). He was being aggressive and taking shots down the field. BTW, how is it less risky to opt for a double-covered receiver as opposed to one who is breaking free on a middle route?
