Miller Lite presents Mac, Jurko & Harry live at Dick's River Roadhouse in Mt. Prospect. Stop by the last neighborhood corner tavern as the guys broadcast live and give away great Miller Lite and ESPN 1000 prizes. Friday, February 29 from 2p-6p

The Beefster may make his 2008 debut.

There is a very outside chance I'd go. Not likely. I hate to miss out on the free miller lite key chain.

Sounds like the boys are doing a show from the "Double Deuce". Wondering if Dalton is working the door?

No, I accidentally said that Jimmy Clausen wouldn't win 4 Heismans. I barely survived with my life.

Hey Grid - Doug and I were busting up when Mac read your Berrian update. Way to scoop JD and the Chicago press!!

What time did you show up? I had to cruise at 4:30. Good hangin' w/ doug and Scorehead #48 . . .

Good seeing Doug, NSJ and Golfboy (Scorehead 84, I believe). The rest of you should come out when you have a chance. These events are spirited.

Thanks NSJ... The fact of the matter is (for better or worse) I'm networked in with die hard Bears fans from all over the world. A couple of years ago, I got the 'scoop' on Ruben Brown (and his family) driving his SUV and trailer off the road from some guy in SWEDEN. I got the SunTimes blurb from some guy in Buffalo. So flippin' wierd... I got Instant Messages popping up at work throughout the day yesterday.

I must have just missed you - I got there around 4:15ish...

Good to see you too Mac. ;)

For those that can't make it to an afternoon remote, some of the Message Boarders from here and www.CBFans.info are getting together at Real Time Sports for the NFL Draft in late April:

There's nothing like a Slapshot Ed wearing a Lions helmet rooting for another first round WR.

I work not too far from there.

I used to work somewhere a hop skip and a jump from there and that was our work get together place.

Yes, I understand they went hand in hand to see a radio show being produced... oh wait a minute, that was you and your 'companion'.

I'm sorry for forgetting to mention you, Grid. It is ALWAYS good to see you. And as I mentioned to you in the parking lot, it is a privilege being in your fantasy football league.

I think that was Doug donning the Lions helmet at the NFL draft there Big Shooter. I save the Saints helmet at our fantasy draft to show everyone what a moron I was trading the #1 over all pick and dropping 4 spots to take Drew Brees. :?

I'll have my Dolphins, Rams and Falcons helmets at Real time for all to wear in about 7 weeks.

Thanks for the text on Briggs last night Grid. Was busy bowling a 244 last night or I would of responded with "How about some fucking offense"!

I was despondent still over Berrian leaving, and woofing down some ribs with Young Max - wouldn't you know it all three TVs in the place were on NFL Network and I almost choked on my rib when I saw he resigned. So I figured I'd give any Bears fans I knew a head's up to cheer 'em up a bit.

I made the mistake Zach of listening to my buddy and Fantasy football Island guru Brian Sawa tell me how Brees would have 4,000 passing yards and 49 Td's . He claims he told me he said Brady not Brees.
