Mac , what's on the docket for the Spring training shows? I understand that the respective stations who cover the Sox and Cubs will not allow you guys to broadcast from the games and after listening to you guys cover the Cubs playoffs this past year in Az , I can only hope we have more coverage and a more inspired show than the shows you guys mailed in from Alice Coopers bar. I'm very excited for Cubs baseball and something or anything to do with warm weather but I look forward to your broadcasts this week ..

I know the expectations for your White Sox are very low but try and put on a happy face when your talking to Cubs players and coaches and welcome the 2008 NLCS champs with open arms my friend.

After weeks of meaningless sports chatter about nothing, this week should get folks jump started for baseball.

I find when the show is out of studio it seems to have purpose and each guy is a little more focused.I enjoyed the playoff preview when they were out West for the Cubs push to sweepdom..

Arizona - from the Blackout Album

Hell, you could even parlay the 'gas' line into something from Jurko's ass

Arizona really was a gas
I was screwed up in a total mess
Mindblowing all the way, you know
Just out of sight

Some girl stopped me in the street at night
Ooh, what a knockout and she felt so right
Ooh, yeah she took my breath away
Just out of sight

Loved her in her car
Took me to the stars
Babe, we went nuts all the way
Loved her on the moon
Morning came too soon
She got me high and loose, loose, loose

Arizona really feels alright
Girls swing here and they treat you right
Have so many special ways, you know
And that's alright

Was so hard to leave and say goodbye
I'd like to stay and have another try
Mindblowing all the way, you know
Just out of sight

Loved her in her car
Took me to the stars
Babe, we went nuts all the way
Loved her on the moon
Morning came too soon
She got me high and loose, loose, loose

Ooh, what a night
Such a good time
Out of sight
Yeah, what a night

Or something from one of the best albums ever put together and that's U2's " The Joshua Tree".. An Arizona inspired album.

I could go for that Slappy... Have you ever seen the movie "FEARLESS" with Jeff Bridges - I'll never forget a certain U2 song that's used in a pretty powerful scene.

I'm sure we'll get a little Alice Cooper, as he's from there too. One of David Letterman's favorite bands is also from Arizona - the Gin Blossoms.

I can't help but laugh when someone calls the Eagles lame, and then begs for the Scorpions. Not liking the Eagles? Ok. Liking the Scorpions? Sure. But both?!?!@#@#%^%^

I managed to get under a trolls skin today which I thought was not possible but Jack screamed uncle in the General discussion thread today so I cut him some slack . I promised him a Mcskillet if he would behave the rest of the day and he agreed.

The Cubs cockblocked them too? LOL. Did Mac act like a baby again, like when the Sox did it? Like when he used that as his excuse for thinking the Sox would be terrible and saying he'd talk more Cubs because of it in the future?

Those shows at Cooperstown were anything but mailed in, my dear STU-GOTZ. It was 95 degrees all week and we chose to work outdoors so it would SOUND better, not because of our comfort. We had good guests... including Lou Piniella, Mark DeRosa, Len Kasper and Nick Barnett to preview the Bears-Packers Sunday nighter at Lambeau. We had goode phone... good e-mail... good energy. We went (and Jurko even stayed until the end) to both games at Bank One. Mailed in, my ass.

As for this week... it's not "Cubs Shows" in the Phoenix area and a "White Sox show" in Tucson Wednesday. It's "Our Show" and we'll program it according to what's going on in the news. Talked college hoops with Clark Kellogg Monday. Had lots of interaction with callers on the Bears' moves over the weekend and the Bulls' collapse. Our only guest from there was Bruuuuuuuce. Today we should have more Cubs, but don't assume anything to be a "Cubs Show" or a "Sox Show." We just do "Our Show."

Jim DeRevolting hates the Eagles? Shocking development. Disappointing too, after I slept with Harry in the desert last night... with a million stars all around.

I beg to differ. You guys had a 40 minute segment with some washed up BlackHawk who stopped by and I know it was a life sentence for you to be sitting next to your two Cubs fan buddies and faining interest about you being at a Cubs playoff game after your White Sox shit the bed..

I saw the Webcast from Coops bar and it looked like a Mike Murphy remote as no one was there.I just felt you had swallowed bitter grapes about you being there because it was the Cubs. I just didn't think you were on your A game that week . I did enjoy yesterdays show and thought you brought your A game.
