They actually gave themselves a "thumbs-down" for their mis-handling of the questions almost immediately after the interview ended? Did you miss that part?

That's why they really are 3 blowhards sitting around "at the last corner saloon". They are the guys spouting off that you eventually avoid.
Tough talk and pussy interviews. The act is now boring.

Duhon was a very uninterested participant. He really didn't seem to care. They lobbed some softballs, but at least a couple questions attempted to get some good answers. Duhon came off as a baby who is mad he isn't getting as many minutes and didn't really seem to care. He didn't think he did anything wrong except oversleep.

I can agree with your thoughts FavreFan but I doubt Duhon would have given any good answers to any questions.

Thumbs Down to Mark Giangreco for totally pulling a Chris Duhon/Tyrus Thomas and not showing up for today's Silvy and Waddle show. The producer called him to find out where he was, only to find out that he's down in Florida catching rays...

This is the single most reason why as much as I hate Mike North, I'm willing to give him a try, because he will ask the tough questions and even a follow up if necessary. I still remember him asking Joe Buck "Hey it sounds like you have an attitude."

I think that MJH ought to announce their intent to interview Giangreco about him not showing up for work today. Then, when he comes on the air, they should instead ask him about his golf game.

Thumbs down to Mac and the boys today for how they treated the whole Chris Duhon thing. They come out blasting him for not being able to act like an adult, saying he needs to leave this summer, saying how irresponsible he is, etc. They they get him on for an interview and toss him a bunch of softball questions such as "Hey Du, what do you think of the Cubs playing at the cell?" or "Hey Du, could you get eight tickets for the Duke game if you wanted?" Mac, for someone that has criticized reporters for not asking tough questions when it comes to Lou Pineilla and other guys around here, some of your questions were embarrassingly soft. Were you guys afraid to tell him face to face(so to speak) that he was acting immature and not like an adult? I dont get it. Then we had to hear this lame interview again around 5:15, and Im sure we get to be treated to the Romo-esque third re-rack with Finji. Pretty bad stuff today.

I agree with you on the fact that they shouldn't replay the interview during the 5:00 hour. I thought that was what the 6:00 hour was for.

No, ironically I found it similar to Du apologizing after his misdeed. Doesnt make it much better to apologize afterwards, just dont do it in the first place. Im tired of all the kid glove treatment these guys(meaning sports radio hosts in general, not just MJH) dish out. They were calling him out severely for his immaturity and several times referred to him as a "horrible teammate". Yet when they have the chance to tell him that and make sure he hears it, they go the other way and lob LeVineLine softballs at him.

I thought the interview was good. They asked him several different ways about the missed practice, and if he was sorry. Mac sounded bitter, in my opinion, and it was only at the end of the interview did some of the questions become stupid.

I will echo my thoughts when I first that he would be on. "Who cares?" I think that sums it up for both the interviewers and interviewee.

Funny how mac doesnt show up when someone points things like this out. When it comes down to it, mostly everyone in the media lose their sack when they actually have to speak to someone directly they have been critical of.

He can ask follow-up questions if he thinks an answer was evasive. MJH usually take turns asking questions which seems to result in less cohesion and more "softballs". The drawback with a North interview is that he can get side-tracked with a specific issue, ultimately driving it into the ground.

Just another example of the lousy work ethic from the Channel 7 team. I think that MJH ought to announce their intent to interview Giangreco about him not showing up for work today.
