So we all know that Mac went to the Sox/Twins game last night...
to "visit his buddy Gardsy and watch the Sox pound the Twuns"
The game ended around 11:30 after a rain delay...
so seeing as how Mac needs to get back to work by noon or so .....
I am putting the over /under on Mac leaving the game after 5 innings ....
Which way do you go?

Gardsy wasn't even there.

..and there was a pretty significant rain delay.

so what's your point?

Wow Frank. That new job must pay just a little bit more than Radio Shack!

Well, its easy money methinks. As I was leaving after the Twins broke it open in the 6th, I was pretty sure I saw Mac again on the concourse.

Saw Coppock twice too, and man did he look like a goof.

Let me say that first and foremost I'm an Ozzie fan and a Sox fan but I have seen enough and think it's time for a change at the manager position with the Sox.

Ozzie's act has gotten old and this team over the last 2 years has shown they are old and slow and have tuned out their skipper. Kenny has some blame to share in all of this and Greg Walker as well but an overhaul is long over due and I say blow it up and start fresh and begin with letting Ozzie go.

I think Kenny is setting the table with his appearance with the media the other day as he lashed out at Ozzie about his conduct the other day.If the Sox slip to 8 or 9 games out I can't see Ozzie surviving past July.

I think there's going to come some point in time, probably not this season, but maybe next, that Williams comes to the conclusion that Ozzie's antics aren't helping, and that the team is actually toning him out.

Ozzie is not walking to the plate with a .217 batting average like everyone else. I admit his antics can be a distraction, but the antics have always been the same win or lose. Thats Ozzie, and I put more blame on KW and the players for the horrible play from August 06 til now.

this team being bad is because of bad decisions over the last few years, kenny needed to overhaul the scouting staff a long time ago. the problem is you have veteran players who can't/won't make adjustments. i am not going to say they should not have re-signed so and so, but this team needs to take a few years and build up the farm system, there are so many successful teams out there that don't have the "big names" a big example is the twins, you trade your best pitcher and one of the better CF out there and they find themselves on top of the central, whether they are the real deal remains to be seen. i have no issues with ozzie or anyone involved with the organization, but it may be time to shake things up a bit, nothing drastic but bringing up jerry owens would be a good start. i think that would mean brian anderson would be sent down. anyway that is only my opinion

You guys realize if the Sox win today they are 1 game out of 1st place?

Why is it that only the hitters are tuning out Ozzie and deciding not to hit? Why does't that theory work for the pitchers? They are 3rd in the AL in team ERA? This is Swisher's an OC's first year with Ozzie. They haven't had time to be sick of Ozzie. Why aren't they hitting?

I agree about Walker? You can fire him. Just to make the hitters feel guilty.

Do you think the Tigers are sick of Leyland's smoking and are tuning him out? Is he the reason the Tigers have sucked?

I do not care or even look at the standings this early in the year. The pitching overall has been outstanding. There is no reason for this team not to have at least 20 wins right now. THis offense is the same pathetic shit as last year, but with even fewer HRs-- esepcially from the big guys in the lineup! Now, I'll rant..

Thome has no busines batting 3rd right now.
I'm not saying Jerry Owens is the cure here, but this team desparatly needs speed and a true leadoff guy.
I am tired of Swisher. He can take is stupid goatee and shove it up his ass.
Toby Hall has no business playing 12" softball, much less playing in the big leagues.
Konerko, who is and will be one of my favorites, is terrible so far this year.
Richar may not be the answer, but Uribe can hightail is fat ass out of here too.
Southpaw is fucking annoying.

Shouldn't have. You summed up this season in your first four sentences. You just have to hope that they start hitting in the next few weeks or it will be a long season filled by a team of aging former 'all-stars' with little to no trade value.

Of course, you could look on the bright side, Quentin may be emerging, Danks, Floyd, Jenks and Vazquez are under contract(or control) for years to come and....well, I guess that's about it. :?

I would like to see Thome sit during interleague with Owens called up and playing CF, Dye DH, and Swisher in LF
