I predict that Jurko will pull out his "trader" card on Derrick Rose today saying that because he snubbed the Illini he should never ever become a Bull and will then hope that Rose blows out a knee in his 1st NBA game. Seems that Jurko likes playing the "bad cop" to stir up listeners. Sure glad that Chicago listeners don't hold a grudge like Johnny Boy does!!! |

Or even better is that Jurko will claim that with a 1% chance to get the #1 pick that the Bulls and the NBA got together and TILTED the odds so the Bulls can become great again and Save the NBA. |

Quite frankly, with just a 1.7 % chance of getting the top pick, it does make me go Hmmmmm, when they get the top pick. It is good for the league to have the Bulls be relevant again. I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin.... |

As much of an MJH fan I am, I'll probable be listening to B&B today because it is well chronicled that hoops is not the afternoon saloon's strong point. |

Jurko has never struck me as being that provincial with regard to Illini buckets. I could see me playing the traitor card. However, just this one time, I will look the other way for Derrick Rose and the Bulls. I am for the future and that is the passed. |

I didn't know that Illinois had the right of first refusal of all Chicagoland players. I thought Illini territory went from Peoria to Effingham. |

You're from Purdue so you wouldn't know. But years ago in a back-alley deal that I think involved Al Capone in some capacity, the original Chief Illiniwek brokered a deal allowing the Chicago Bears to use Illini colors in return for all Chicago sports transactions secretly being vetted by a vote of Illini alums. Don't blame me for Ben Wallace. I voted no. |

So that's how the Bears were able to secure the services of Brandon Llyod and Kurk Kittner? |
