They get picked on and Ozzie goes on his bitchy ass rant about not being as big as the CUBS. Just like a typical Sox fan, to worry about the Cubs, and not worry about his own damn team. I find it to be a joke and very telling of the white sox and their fan base.

Why the fuck not. I think its a good idea. White sox hitting is pathetic and the pitching is horrible in that great AL central. Jurko says the White Sox should have a white flag trade because they have no chance to win it all. So he thinks the first place Sox should trade Buehrle for some young arms and "rebuild the farm system". You have to hand it to Jurko. He may not know much about baseball, but he does know how to light up phone lines, agitate people to call and try to stir up a slow show by throwing out a straw man full of nonsense. So how many days will we have to listen to Sox fans calling in and telling Jurko they disagree with him? I hope not many. I'd hate to think this obvious attempt to stir up the masses is actually worth discussing. I'd also be concerned for Jurko's mental health if I thought for one second he actually believes this.

Sure it's an attempt to stir up the masses. The sox fans got stirred up, as he knew they would, while many Cubs fans found it very enjoyable. Some of what he said rang true. Their minor league system, even Bruuuuce Levine, says often, is low on talented prospects. So low, they have little or no chance to make trades that utilize minor leaguers. Enough of what he said was accurate enough to incite people to call with passion. That makes good radio, which brings good ratings. Great job Jurko

Jurko's just being an ass crack before the crosstown series. Buerhls and Konks both have no trade clauses. He just wants to get though the next four weeks until football camps start opening....

Why the fuck not. I think its a good idea. White sox hitting is pathetic and the pitching is horrible in that great AL central. Yeah they are doing great vs some horrible teams, but what happens when they go out of their division? They get picked on and Ozzie goes on his bitchy ass rant about not being as big as the CUBS. There value will never be lower too btw. Vasquez is among the AL leaders in strikeouts. Contreras is pushing 50. I think the Cubs should back up the truck and unload players now - they'll never get more for them and could set themselves up for the next decade rather than carry old cadavers like Ramirez, D-Lee and the temperamental Zambrano. Deal 'em now before rigor mortis sets in. Lou's brain is picked too. They should fire him before he fucks up big time like in last year's playoffs. Remember that? 3 and out....
