Anyone know what the rift was between Mac and Silvermen? Mac made mention of it several times last week and mentioned they made up on Saturday night at the Wedding between Carm and Silvy.

I think it has something to do with Mac playing a drop in from Silvy's show and Mac was asked not to play it again. I thought it was mentioned last week in passing.

If I'm incorrect Mac, please correct me.

If that is what the rift was...Silvy botched "Cubs and Sox" and it came out "Cocks" during the Friday remote of the Wrigley series. Got dropped a couple times before mgmt axed it.

Marc was mad at me for something I said last week... something about the station having no history of giving us "the baton" with a lead... that we're always playing catch up. I told him Saturday night I understood why he was upset with me, but I didn't mean it as a reflection of how I feel about his show. I didn't. I was referring more to noon to 2:00 shows, or noon to 3 shows, that don't post a number.

Marc would have to be pretty damn good to give you a lead-in from 2 shows back...

In hindsight, I'd rather listen to Tony Kornheiser than the Dan Patrick Show and the Mike Tirico Snoozefest.

I have never listened to the Mike Tirico show, but he is bad on t.v., I don't know what ESPN see in him, he gets all the big sports jobs that ESPN does. He always seems like a guy to me that if a player celebrates a little says that's not right. I don't remember saying to much about Chad Johnson last year in week 1, maybe ESPN told him not too.

When it gets too football season, will Mondays be road shows, will he just do it from the game site, or is he off.
