Mac, you're a long-time "investment opportunity" guy. Will you be a client of this great new gambling website, dontfademe.com? Check it out. I think you may be acquainted with the proprietor, as well.

We don't have to fade him; time's doing a good job of it. First month's been a bitch; he ought to be invisible by xmas!

Closest I see are lyrics for 'Can't fade me' by Cassidy, and another listing for Nas. I'm not a rap affectionado, so I have no idea. I suppose in the song(s), the guy is a chip of paint, fading in the brilliant sunlight that is our forgetfulness, especially while they're serving 5-10 in the slammer... Or something :-)

Doesn't sound like a Dino song, though...

I suggest reading the "Terms of Use," the part where the legal entity that owns the site is mentioned. Funny stuff.

I like how in Mike's bio it said that he decided to leave Chicago radio. Yes he did, right after the Score said to him you cannot be on our station anymore.

Jen has the best bio..

Yes, she's gorgeous, but don't dismiss Jen Patterson as that beautiful blonde who smiled and winked her way to the top. In fact, nearly any guy who has gone toe to toe with her has come out of that conversation shaking his head, amazed that they met a woman who knew more about sports than they did.

"I remember not only was she a lot of fun to talk to, this girl knew her stuff when it came to sports," says North who discovered Jen in Chicago back in 2002. "The girl's got some spunk when it comes to sports."

With a resume that includes integral positions on such high profile stations with major league colleagues such as Fox Sports, Comcast SportsNet, WSCR-AM (The Score), Doug Buffone, Joe Buck and Tim McCarver, Jen has proven quickly and repeatedly to the best in the business that when it comes to sports - she's knows her stuff.

Jen's star continued to rise in 2006 when The Score sent her to Italy to cover the 2006 Olympics. Soon after, when Mike was asked to helm The Score's coveted morning show slot, he asked Jen to join his all-star team as Associate Producer. Before long Jen was promoted to Executive Producer as well as being featured as an on-air personality.

Her tenure on the show and at the station lasted 4 years, ending when Mike chose to leave the station and she chose to follow the Mike as he struck out on his own.

She chose to follow "the" Mike?

That last sentence is almost Freudian.

Given what options, if any, were presented to her at the Score, she probably figured this was certainly in her best interest if not her only real choice.

It really was a group decision with Mike, Jen, and "the" vast Rolodex of contacts coming to a consensus that only the Rolodex had any real future. The Rolodex didn't want Pappy's paws on it, so a deal was made where Jen wouldn't refuse the same and Mike could add "the" to his title and speak of himself in the third person. Pappy, who's struggled to speak of himself properly in the first person now spends much of his days working this problem out under the watchful eye of his wife "Bee" and the dog "Lucky". Bee has taught Lucky to bark whenever "The Mike" tries to paw Jen.

Another tasteless comment by Mr. North.

A few observations that made me giggle...

1. Jen's video on the front page. It's a completely pointless video that just states exactly what it says on the website. The best part is you can see her turn off the camera at the end.

2. $19.95 for a three day trial? WHAT?!!? Are you FV#%!#& KIDDING ME?!?!?! I'm going to pay 20 bucks to get betting advice from Mike North and Fred Huebner? What a joke. Who the hell has paid 20 bucks for this site yet? There's no way they "make" any money off this at all.

3. Mike dressed as "The Bookie Priest" in the bio section. I don't even know what to say about it. This whole entire website is such a joke.

I honestly would plunk down the $20 for three days just to see what was on the other side of the paywall, except that I'm afraid that once he has my CC number I won't be able to prevent subsequent $99 charges.

Unfortunately it's on her tits, and I don't think it'll help her career.
