Down in Atlanta, a three man sportsradio show, hmmm....

"More fun than humans should be allowed", best describes the awesome mix of information and entertainment that three Atlanta radio veterans bring to the table. Atlanta's funniest radio personality (former stand up comedian) Mike Bell joins Chuck Oliver "The King of College Football" (a former English teacher and grilling/movie/70s music aficionado - and wannabe sports scribe) in delivering the afternoon show that every guy in Atlanta is talking about. Rounding out the trio is former football player David Pollak who spends the last hour post-concussed and confused.

HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!? HA!

I say the boys make a 'wacky sportsradio bet' as the Bears play the Falcons soon. RIGHTS to "THE AFTERNOON SALOON"!!!!!

I like the "Two Live Stews" show, with two brothers and a dweeb-looking guy. Oh and two of them are Stews.

Don't forget the "Murph and Mac" show out in SF... it is a morning show, so I assume that McNeil and Murphy record it around 7am CST and then just ship it out there.

Jagr, Harry was bitching that Comcast stole their schtick.

The Atlanta show is different from the last time. They changed hosts.

Hmmm... A sign of things to come?!?!?

I wonder if our "Afternoon Saloon" will serve up a simulcast with their "Afternoon Saloon" one day next week as the countdown towards Bears/Falcons draws closer & closer in Atlanta's Georgia Dome...

Beef, you are starting to sound like Mancow did when he thought other people were stealing his show. Google Afternoon Saloon and there are several shows bearing that name.

None of them better put a question up on their website, solicit people to select their answer, then talk about it on the air...

In the business world, slogans and taglines like "the last neighborhood corner tavern" or "afternoon saloon" are regularly trademarked to keep other people in similar businesses from copying this kind of stuff. In fact, most companies don't create anything like this in the first place without first doing a trademark search. I guess ESPN 1000 couldn't spring for the $300 in legal fees to file the papers with the Trademark office and protect their intellectual property.

Yes one of the hosts has been replaced. They got ride of Hometeam and replaced him with David Pollack former UGA LB. Maybe just maybe the real afternoon saloon will get ride of their homer Harry.

Just think, the "Atlanta afternoon saloon" probably has better contacts to get in touch with Michael Vick's dogs, I'll bet they even have the dog's cell phones. Harry T was working at a disadvantage.
