THAT SUCKS! :x That was one of my favorite segments on "MJH" hearing "Critics @ XL" every Tuesday afternoon, complete with Don Henley's "Dirty Laundry" in the background. The only thing I could figure was the "integrity of the segment", whatever that means, or that ESPN bosses weren't thrilled in the guys giving thumbs down & constantly firing shots at the likes of Chris Berman, Stuart Scott, plus hearing dead air at the start of ESPN Radio's top of the hour "SportsCenter" and the anchor getting cut off as the music ends... |

I agree. Critics was what made me a MJH fan in the first place. |

I'm sure it'll be back some day. It probably just needs to be missed for awhile. |

I see the overwhelming outcry of this segment being dumped! It was tired and good riddance!!!!!! And I don't get to hear the fucking word minutia again! |

While it lacked OOMPH at times, it remains to be seen whether these three clowns can come up with something better to amuse us. I was very happy to see Caliendo take his act elsewhere, I enjoyed Critics @ X-Large. MJH have no 'benchmark' programming now imho. I'd rather listen to that "Saved by Zero" commercial than Who Do You Love btw. Talk about a stale bit. |

Beef- I couldn't agree with you more. You're right on the money. I'm hoping they re-think this decision. "Who do you love" is just background noise for me most of the time. I don't really give a shit about fantasy picks or fantasy type game segments. There are only two times that I switch to B&B; during "who do you love" and when they start arguing about whether something is off topic or not. I don't really care if something is off topic or not, as long as it's funny or interesting. |

If they feel the segment lacks CREDIBILITY because they can't criticize fellow ESPN (national) employees, that's another story. MJH will lack an 'appointment radio' segment for me. Who do you love? Not that segment! Time for Justin, Delly-CarrotDangler and Zederman to something original - come up with a creative idea for the fellas as they're brain cramping. How about the Tell Yer Story Walkin, While You See What's in the Vending Machine, While Holding Future Mail ,Thinking About Boy's Toys and pondering what's the Factually Correct Jersey Number Between Jurko vs. Harrysegment |

Beef, I think that the constant biting of the hand killed "Critics @ XL". "MJH" always gave thumbs down towards Chris Berman, Stuart Scott, national management of ESPN Radio, Mike Patrick, Stephen A. Smith, and others in Bristol, CT every week during the segment. I think network bosses took exception to all the bashing, even if it was justified. That's what I meant by the biting of the hand... |

They have been crticizing ESPN for so long I would hope that's not it. It should have been killed because it was usually boring. There were plenty of good calls through the years, but the majority did not cut it for me. They can still accept calls or emails regarding critics without a complete segment. |

I hope its just on hiatus and not totally dead. The segment was always better during football season, and yes there were some minutia calls/emails, but I think the segment is still pretty good. Maybe do it once or month or once every other week. |

I think they put in on ice to avoid people calling in to say how bad those Bulls spots were. |

I liked the old version of WDYL, when callers and emailers got to pick a game a week (miss hearing Bama Brian ). I really don't like this season's version of it; although I must say I have tried to call in to be picked as a contestant. |
