I personally find it hilarious that Dan McNeil was on the very first Sunday Sports Nite with Daryl Hawks himself... and once he wasn't invited back to the show had the brave idea of girlling the whole department... pretty easy to fire away when you've cut ties (more like been rejected) by the station, isn't it Mac??? Plus Hawks went on MAC'S very own show, conducted himself professionally, and made "Dangerous Dan" and his goon buddies sound like a group of high school thugs goofing off in the back of the class and picking on the smart kid. |

welcome to the board Vor. read the welcome section also, fyi: Mac mentioned a few weeks ago that he still hadn't been paid for that appearance....he rejected NBC, not the other way around. |

Vor your on it! He doesn't bash Hawk who he worked with the 1st Bear game until months later???? Mac used to laugh at Jon Scheyers column.....I wonder who's laughing now. I think Jim Parques' columns are as riveting as Macs! |

you guys don't listen to the show much. Mac has been railing on DH for months. Just happened to be in a major newspaper and read by many more than happened to be listening to MJH. |

No. Then when the guy calls him Mac does the snide english and Paula snicker. Mac is a Pappy waiting to happen and it will,it will.

Yeah he did it within few weeks of the first show after seeing enough to form an opinion. as a matter of fact, i believe daryl screwed up someones name on that first night and Mac commented on it the next day. |

Mac criticized the production crew right out of the gate after that POST GAME ABORTION. He then chided 'Tony' Hawk after a few weeks. Who knows, maybe he wanted to give the guy a month to turn things around. That guy is brutal. Did anybody catch the story he did on the Globetrotters? Nothing like being PART of the story. He's a stockier black version of Tom Zenner. |
