Chatted with Mackey tonight and he seems to be in great spirits and he wanted me to let you guys know he'll be at the "Charlestons" remote in New Lenox on Friday to catch up with some old friends and make some new ones . He'll be a patron and have a few NA beers and shake hands and kiss babies while he's there.

A lot of us are going so come out and give a big hug to Barney Rubble if your so inclined. :wink:

Were also doing the Hawks game on Wednesday night so find us and buy us an NA beer and will buy you a real one.

Perhaps you could provide details, like where the place is located (exact address if possible) and the time that he might plan to arrive/depart? It would be nice to see Dan and express well wishes in person.

Sarge- There are going to be lots of people who are going to be interested in going to this. It would be much easier for those people if the information was posted here. It's not just for me, but for the many others who will visit this thread between now and Fridays remote. So know your role and shut your mouth newbie!

Nice place, Charleston's, and has really become a popular hangout for the young to middle aged adults. Not bad for only being open for a year and being somewhat in the middle of nowhere on Laraway Road, just east of Cedar Rd. The only landmark around it is the Berkots and railroad tracks. Your best bet is to Google cause I'm too lazy to give full directions. But you can get to Laraway Rd. from Rt. 45/LaGrange Rd., Wolf Rd., Briggs. St. in Joliet, and more.

No, you're right-why would anyone want to post the address and make things easier on people who might come across this thread??? When a thread is posted, details like that are often appreciated, as it allows people the opportunity to get the information without having to google it.
