Here are some bits Carm: 1) Jurko the WR: How many footballs can Jurko catch? He has to continue to hold all previously caught balls while trying to catch the next. 2) Interview Horse Race: Jurko and Harry each pick out one word. Carm assigns bonus points to the player who picked the more uncommon word. Everytime the interviewee says their word, they get a point. Winner is who ends up with the most points. Pair a caller to each host to give out prizes. 3) The Bullhorn: If a caller wants to talk about the Bulls and they are driving in their car, they must honk their "Bullhorn." Bonus points if they are driving a big rig. 4) Obscure Sports Scores: Throw out some D-III basketball scores. There are some funny college names there. 5) Sports Stars Side Businesses: Take emailers. They name a good side business for sports starts to get into -- obviously humorous suggestions happen here. Plaxico Burress' Ammo Hut, Eddie Curry's Rainbow Bar, Mike Singletary's Suspender Factory, etc. Read the best 6) History Of Sports: Have a nice musical intro into this then begin with a plausible story about some event that happened in sports -- e.g., in 1935 Ben Alain hit consecutive holes in one in the 2nd round of the Miami Charitable Open. Then slowly make it more and more unlikely.. the wind was blowing with him on the par 4 8th hole when he hit the ball off of the cart path, which then caromed off of a stray rock and rolled into the hole. A young man, only nine years old was there that day. He was so impressed that later in life he gave his child the name of Alain. His name? Fidel Alejandro Castro. Harry can do this and make it funnier. |

....meanwhile Jim Pastor's henchman (Justin Craig) takes Carmen to dinner Tuesday night and blows smoke up Carm's ass about what a great future they all have at ESPN1000. Harry sits across the table nodding his head with everything Justin says. Jurko picks something out of his ear, inspects it, and eats it. Then looks at the date on his watch - January 20th... 6 or so more months of this bullshit. |

What's the possibility of one of these three getting suspended in the next couple of months for something said or participating in a fight on-air? I would have to think that Harry is the early line favorite at about 8-1, Jurko about 20-1, and Carm the long-shot at 99-1. |

I've longed to hear Slippery Rock scores ever since Ray Raynor left the air. Hey that gives me an idea to add to Newpers suggestions...how about Jurko with a "do it yourself project" or Tiny as Cuddly Duddly while Carm reads listener mail to him...throw in some Bugs Bunny cartoons and you've got something.

Shit! I thought that maybe Ed Farmer joined the cretins with some advice for Carm. |
