Cred: Played right field little league. I've been listening to MJH for a while now and with the recent change, I've come to really hate the new afternoon crew....I can't say I blame Carmen coz he's just doing his best, but man.....they just act if it's the same ol same ol with all of their segements...but what made those shtick (spelling) was MJH..not CJH ...not having Mac to put Tiny in his place on occassion really makes the afternoon listen a chore.... BTW, did u guys hear the new "support the Italian" spot they're running to promote the show? I heard it for the first time this morning ....i just thought it interesting..maybe they're hearing/seeing a lot of negativity from the listeners?? Or am I a noob for just noticing it this morning.. I know....there are tons of threads out there with this topic, but I rarely post (second actually) and I didn't feel like adding on to those. |

Long time listener and board watcher, first time poster. I agree. I gave it a go for a few weeks but the show has gone down hill. I never disliked Carmen, actually always enjoyed it when he would fill a spot on MJH, but he does not have the experience or radio presence to drive a show. Dan McNeil is what gave this show and station credibility as a Chicago radio station vs the ESPN National radio show. WLS and my Ipod are happy with the change though. |
