Jurko was thoroughly entertaining yesterday at the Sox opener's remote, thanks to Bud light. The fast Eddie story and an unusually glib and entertaining Jurko, made the show much more enjoyable. There was no doubt that Jurko had a couple too many, but it was hilarious and a fun listen. Though I got the impression that Carmen and Harry were a bit concerned about it.

Getting one of these guys drunk on a daily basis might be the only thing that makes this show listenable.

Harry and Carm were worried because...

Like Jurko was going to say something no-no on the air or like they think he has a problem?

Didn't Jurko spill the beans on how Fast Eddie told him you 'cup the business card' in your hand before putting your hand in the 'drawing box' to pull out the 'winner' during charity events?

Yeah. He told how Eddie claimed to have "given away" the same Cadillac 10 years straight, doing that. Funny stuff. Not sure what Carm and Harry were worried about. If Eddie said it, it shouldn't be a problem to repeat it. I think their worrying about what he was spewing, made the comments even funnier. There was no doubt though, Jurko was feeling no pain.

My Dad once got the owners of J.C. Licht Paint stores, to draw his name from a big fish bowl of potential raffle winners. Greg Licht taped my Dad's entry to the back side of the bowl, then "appeared" to draw his entry form from the bowl. Dad did a lot of business with Greg and Mark and it was just good business to take care of a great customer. Probably happens more than you might think.
