Was in my truck for 10 minutes this afternoon and heard the Tiny one suggesting Jermaine Dye should move to left field and C.Q. should move to right. I texted Carmen and told him to enjoy the rest of the show. Great thing about being on this side of it.... I don't have to wait 'til the next Kars-4-Kids commercial to retreat to a more comfortable place. |

What was his reasoning for a move like that? |

Murph made this comment last week and I agree with him. JD is a bad right fielder. Quentin won't remind anyone of Roberto Clemente but he is a better defensive player than JD. |

As Keyser pointed out, it is not crazy in theory. In practice, you would be insane to rock the boat for a marginal return. Anyway, who is seeing the Sox corner outfielders as a problem on this team. We are talking about the most productive outfielder in baseball the last three years and a person shaping up as a perennial MVP candidate. |

And, as Carmine correctly pointed out yesterday, Jermaine can't run very well anymore, but he still gets to a lot of balls because he reads them so well off the bat. He's perfected that over the years playing RF. Obviously, the reads would be different in left. We've already seen Jermaine make a few nice running catches and I know I've seen him crash into the wall 2 or 3 times at least this season. He's no longer a gold glover, but he can still hold his own out there for the most part. |

Let it go Mackey. Harry is in the ball game. You can grab some bench. |

Just because Harry is on the active roster, doesn't mean he's in the ballgame. |

Dophin...Im not a sox fan...I just think Keith Law is a smart baseball guy. I agree with Law and Neyer more than most analysts...And I value offense over defense...So i could see trying the alexei cf thing. Beckham and Ramirez offense> Ramirez and Anderson defense anyways...remember when Anderson hit 2 HRs off Felix in 06? Looked like he was gonna be a hitter that day. oh and btw...you just got caught reading other people's thoughts. busted. |

You will greatly diminish your defense on 2 of the 3 most important defensive positions, while increasing your offense in the 9th position. That doesn't sound like a good formula to me. |

Say Anderson is an A CF Ramirez would be a C CF Ramirez is a B SS Beckham would be a B ss If your weakening 2 positions then probably not a good formula...but if your going from an A to a C level fielder in CF and maintaing a B level player at SS...i think its worth it |

Shorter run to left field from the bench equals less chance for JD to get hurt. |

That whole show just needs to disappear. Carmine is a really good radio guy but not with Jurk and Harry. Harry is terrible and was unbearable with Mac and Jurko but I still tuned in with hopes of hearing Harry get ripped by his co-hosts. Mac and Jurko were great together Time for ESPN to close the doors on the Saloon |

Ranger would disagree with you about JD. However, I agree with you and Murph. CQ would be much better in right than Dye, but that's damning with faint praise. |
