For those of you unaware of the fine Woodridge area, make sure you stop by the Tilted Kilt after joining the Saloon on Friday. It's also in that area by the movie theater. Let's just say that as a recently turned 40-year old, I haven't felt like a dirtier, more perverted man just for going out to eat in a long time than I did after visiting da Kilt. The outfits are of a kilt motif (duh), with a lil' hint of Catholic school girl uniform. And the food is good! Of course, we perverts have to say that to somehow justify our perversion. "Yeah, the women were hot, but the food was good!" usually suffices when telling mixed company about a place with scantily clad women. |

I might be able to make it, since I have a half day Friday. I hope I can find the place. |

Exit at 63rd/Hobson - go west to Route 53 and turn right. It will be on your left hand side a couple of blocks up. |

Please wear a Bill Bergey or Harold Carmichael jersey so I know who you are. In turn, I will wear something from the Morton Arboretum, located in the lovely village in which I reside. |

My Carmichael jersey doesn't quite fit me anymore as I was about 10 or 11 when I wore it. I'd sure like to get a throwback jersey from that era though. I'll have on my tan Eagles hat that I won from the Pepsi/Frito Lay under the cap contest that I won a few years ago. |

It was a great time. Eaglo Jeff, Spaulding, and I bent a few elbows at Buffalo Wild Wings. We talked in depth with CJH about things. Zederman offered some insight, too. Everyone on their staff that was there took the time to talk to us. They're great guys, and that includes Harry, whom I love to use as a punching bag whenever I call the show. Say what you want about him on the air, and most of you have, you won't find a nicer guy at an appearance than Harry. After the show, Jurk left for one of his son's baseball games, but Carm, Harry, and Danny wanted to check out the Tilted Kilt. Great call, men. So, Spaulding, Eaglo, and I accepted their gracious invitation. Harry picked up the tab for the first round, which of course included shots of Tequila and whatever beer you wanted. I went with the Sam Adams Summer Ale. More laughs ensued. At one point, while watching the Sox game, I made a huge gaffe and said, "He swang (sic) at a bad pitch." DOH! Carm heard me and immediately called me out. Rightfully so. "Swang?" Christ... Definitely worth checking them out when they come to your neck o' the woods. Always a treat to see Spaulding. She and I go way back (not in that way, you animals). Nice to meet Eaglo Jeff, too. I can't believe he said his main drummer influence is that douche from Poison! Poison?! |

Didn't mean to give Jurk short shrift. He bought a round at Buffalo Wild Wings before he left. Sorry, good kid. |

Good to hear about turning it up a bit as far as the energy level and geeting the paying customers into the show. The Joliet remote Spaulding and I were at was if it were a studio show. Very laid back and not the tempo Mac had set when he was there. It sounded like the old days when i turned it on for a bit yesterday and the crowd sounded into it . The guys are always gracious with their time and I agree Eddie that Harry is as nice a guy as you want to meet when your at a remote. Glad you guys had fun. |

I was an hour late for band practice, but it was worth hanging with you, Spaulding, Harry, Carm, Danny & Lexie for sure. Did you guys end up ordering any grub from there after I left? How long did that busty blonde waitress end up flirting with you? Tilted Kilt= Irish/Scottish Hooters |

Tilted Kilt= Irish/Scottish Hooters Spaulding and I ended up eating there. As for the busty blonde, Jessica to me , she flirted with me whenever she came over to check on us. It was mutual, but two things ruined the flirting. First, Spaulding saying, "You know she works on tips." Second, when Jessica said, "That's how I met my boyfriend." Now, I'm not delusional enough to think I was leaving with her, but still. Can't a guy have a moment??? It was like having 2 glasses of ice water poured on my lap. |
