You guys can pound me on this but Harry feels he's that big of a contibuter to the Chicago market and sports radio in general that he comes in on his vacation week off to host with JD to help the Jimmy V foundation.

Find it a bit odd with all the people who could of filled in today that Harry the humanitarien felt the need for the public for Harry to come in and hear his voice today..I can't help but feel some disingenouos thinking there.

Someone talk me off the ledge about this.

Yeah, coming in on your off day to help out the Jimmy V Foundation is an incredibly bad thing to do.
How selfish of him!
Why don't you fix him up with a DB nomination?

Hey Chauncy my point is does Harry coming in really make a shits difference on people making donations! Is about Harry or about the V foundation WAS MY QUESTION?

May I suggest that you push Harry, and then land on top of him.

Good luck.

He has some pretty wealthy friends. If they caught the show today they might be more likely to make that call and cut a check. I'd say yeah his coming in could make a shits difference.

I don't think he would have done it if he thought it wouldn't help.
I am not sticking up for him in general, just in this instance.
Call me "Chauncy" again and we may have to have a discussion.

Harry should thank Mac everyday. Harry wandered around AM programming with late night shows for years. Now he got this drivetime gig and he does think he matters.
All that said, he was a better salesman for this Jimmy V day than JD was.
This was a classic ESPN unplanned. event.,

What a cute new avatar of you and your wife, Sarley.

That actually amused me, Francis.
Of course I am assuming that you are just effing with me,
because if I thought you were saying someting bad about
my wife, you'd be able to easily predict the date of your
early, but well-deserved demise.

Harry has INSUFFERABLY promoting ESPNChicago.com and anything on the various choices from ESPN on television.

"What are you watching this weekend Carm and Jurko? I'm watching the World's Hot Dog Eating Contest on ESPN...." Booooring.

There are plenty of things reported first by the Tribune or the Suntimes - and Harry continues to indicate that ESPNChicago.com is the place to go for late breaking Chicago sports news.

Yawn...
