I may have missed this on air, or posted somewhere else but please fill me in.

You and Mac seemed to have a great rapport, why did you stay at ESPN instead of going to the Score?

Finji could have owned the Sat Night Show on the Score.

Think about this: Finji is the only guy to benefit from David Hernandez. Finji owes him. Hernandez lured Hood and Coppock over to the webio scam and Finji got night and weekend shifts at ESPN 1000 because of it. He got his foot in the door.

What do you think about that Finji? You should visit Hernandez in prison and thank him. You're the only one in the world to benefit from him.

Nice observation Beardown. I guess I did. Although I'd like to think I would've gotten an opportunity eventually anyway. Doen't matter, I like Hood and Coppock a lot (as well as several others at webio) and I wasn't happy to see them get screwed over. I was hoping our station would bring them back. Sure enough, Hood returns this Thursday night with me and I'm looking forward to it. Piss on David Hernandez.

As far as Seacrest's question that began the thread, I would have been happy to work with Mac again. The opportunities were just better at ESPN (with or without the help of Ponzi schemes). The station has its shit together, as does the company as a whole. I've been with them for 8 years and I'm comfortable there.

Mac will always be my guy. I owe a big part of my career to him. I would never have even considered leaving ESPN if he hadn't asked.

Thanks for the feedback, Finji. Best of luck to you.
So, what was offered from Mac? Producer or his partner?

No, I wouldn't have been his partner. Mac wanted Spiegel from the beginning. I probably would've been one of a team of producers. But it never got to that. And from what I've heard the show is in good hands with Miska and Jay.

Thanks for the update Finji. Enjoy the show with Hood.

When his mind is clear and he is on his game he is one of the best in the biz. Best of luck to you.

Finji,

I think it is absolutely fantastic that guys like you and Dave Miska, Mac and many other on air talents or producers take the time to respond to your fans and critics on this board.

I know that I truly enjoy hearing a little of the behind the scenes that goes on at each station - I find it really interesting.

So if it hasn't been said before and it hasn't been by me for sure, thanks for doing that.

No problem Dave. We're just happy that people are actually interested in what we do. Helps our ego.

Very good move on your part. Well thought out decision.
