I thought you didn't listen to them, so how would you know they suck?

I don't need to listen to share my opinion. 8)

This may be blasphemy to many here, but I've had it with B&B (I'm giving Don Tiny his B&B ALS card back). Who You Crappin' is getting old and it's the same callers/emails over and over (for the most part). Tournament of Bad is just that, bad. Terry's doing too much "By Cracky" mentions. Bernsie is always talking down to callers and yelling. Just isn't interesting to me anymore. Their act is getting old, IMO.

I'll listen to them during Danny Mac Show transition, but after that I flip around the dial and eventually move to CHJ. I might be one of the few that can tolerate Harry.

I always give CHJ a portion of my afternoon whenever possible.

I love Harry because he can piss me off so easily going into his Middle Aged FANBOY routine.
I love his stereotypical "THE CUBS ARE MY LIFE" stuff.
He makes us Sox Fans appear to be super stable emotionally, and for that we thank him. 8)

WYC?! If somebody posted this about B&B you'd be all over them like white on rice.

I turned on my car at 5pm yesterday just long enough to hear Carmen say that The Big East is still hands-down the best conference in college basketball.

I'd heard enough.

I accidently catch the replay thing they do from time to time. Bad. B&B are at least entertaining, even if you don't share their opinion. This shit is just shit. No way else to say it...

Yesterday's B&B show was mostly garbage. I'm a fan, but the constant bashing of the tournament was just bullshit. Don't like upsets, don't like college BB, don't like nuthin, it seems. I don't get how they rip the tournament for the upsets, but then rip the BCS for not letting the likes of Boise State play for the football championship. Seems like they're not happy no matter what system is being used.

He's just meeting his taint licking quota from Bristol. All ESPN hosts must tongue East Coast teams for a certain minimum everyday.

Thats the same way I feel about B&B. I certainly don't love this show, but I will take it over B&B.

It's not shit because the show doesn't have enough personality to be shit. CJH is mindless and totally forgetable. Nothing comes from it. No info, no laughs, nothing. It's just on.

Fair enough. They are very differnt shows, so it's very easy to love one and hate the other, I guess. I didn't listen to B&B and didn't really "get" their schtick until Mac left MVP. The Saloon is just a very different show then the one Mac used to put on and it seems like they are trying to pass it off as the same thing...

Yeah, I can see that. Could be part of the reason this show doesn't work very well.

It's like they tried to act as though nothing changed when it's obvious to everyone. Even the guys who still listen to this have to admit it sucks when compared to MJH. Carmen is my guy, but he's been put in a really terrible position. Harry is out of control. Jurko seems bored. They have to do something else with the afternoon slot that doesn't involve Harold Teinowitz...

That's been said, many times, many ways. Wake up Jurko and get rid of Tiny. You'd think its a no-brainer. I don't know the secret to Harry's longevity.

I think he fooled a lot of people with the succes of MJH. Me included. I thought he added a different dynamic to the show. Which he did. But that dynamic is suck and it wasn't as obvious with Mac there to keep him in check.

I know I'm not saying anything new here. I am just shocked that a change hasn't been made yet. Seems like a no brainer at this point....

I'm surprised you were fooled. You seem an erudite chap. Suck is as suck does, and all like that.

I can totally identify with them then. Guess that's why I still like it.

Jurko still makes me laugh from time to time. Carmen could be great with better partners (see the Silvy and Carmen discussion from a couple weeks ago). Harry is always willing to bend an ear and buy a round when I go to a remote, but he's gotten pretty bad on this show.

Well, thank you. But I had to look up erudite so I guess I am not...

When Jurko is on his game, Harry is better playing off of him. When Jurko is asleep and Harry takes over, it is more often than not a train wreck. I liked Carmen in previous roles, but he just says too many stupid things and seems to come off a bit too meat-heady without knowing what he is talking about most of the time.

Ridiculous....You either listen (I believe) or your opinion is moot. MJH WAS my favorite show. When Carmen took over for Mac, I was angry and switched over to B&B. But it quickly became clear to me, that it was a mistake to do that. Carmen has grown and does a good, if not great job and ALL 3 of the guys actually WATCH the games that matter, unlike Boers, who often does not. Some idiots think it's a "bit" to claim he has not watched. But if in the process of carrying out the bit, he has to fail to offer up relevant information/opinions on games, I think carrying out the bit has too great a cost. Harry may be a "homer" and see things through rose colored glasses, but he is into the games and the teams. Jurko is solid if at times uninspired. Bernstein is intelligent and he is well informed and watches the relevant games, but he's just an asshole too often (takes one to know one). If he wasn't trying to prove his superiority so often, he would be far more likable. CJH are much more user friendly and fun.
