I know that Harry wanted to see this thing come to fruition for a number of years, but is it good radio?? I think the reason it never happened before, was that Mac probably gave it a thumbs down. I'm guessing that Carmen went along with it and thats why it's on the air now. I think it's air time that could be better spent. I am wondering how others feel about this segment? |

It's the announcement of someone doing something good, or that was the intention, but it was pretty funny about a week ago, Harry read one and then started bitching (not a ton) about the people sending in sob story after sob story, about people down on their luck and he said, "maybe we can get a few more upbeat stories" I am guessing the Local Hero angle didn't produce the real good guys Harry was looking for. |
