This Wednesday-Friday, I'll be at the United Center as an extra in crowd scenes (along with my Son) for the movie "What You Don't Know" starring Kevin James and Vince Vaughn. They are filming scenes at a Blackhawks game on those days. They may use me in another scene at a park, walking a dog too, as well as a scene at a car show. I never would have known about this if Harry had not mentioned it on the radio. The pay is crap, but I think it would be pretty cool to see myself (and my Son) in a movie. especially one that should be a pretty good one. With Vince and Kevin James, it certainly has 2 pretty solid actors, so I'm optomistic about it's chances to be decent. So thanks to you Harry!

I thought it was called "Cheaters." I've seen Winona Ryder a handful of times filming around the office (in the same area as transformers), and they have always referred to it as such.

that had been the working title. But it has since been changed to "What You Don't Know."

Wow. You have low standards. Vince Vaughan hasn't been good in years, and as an actor, Kevin James is a somewhat funny comedian.

Did the producer of this movie get express written consent from you to use your brand?

I agree that Vaughn, James, Sandler, aren't good actors. They have a personality that is almost the same in every movie and people like it, so they stick with it.

Vaughn has been the same guy since Swingers and Sandler's last different role was in beat the pope.

Lets get one thing straight: Kevin James is a comedy god!

King of Queens was hilarious. Not just Kevin, but every charectar on there was funny, especially father-in-law,Albert Spooner (Jerry Stiller)

Can't the same thing be said for Will Ferrall? I have yet to figure out why this guy continues to make movies that make money. I got Step Brothers for Xmas...never seen it before....haven't seen it since. 15 minutes in to the movie; I chose to do dishes from dinner and I enjoyed doing the dishes way more.

It IS my busy season. But my son wanted to go and take part in this and I promised I would do it. We were there for 15 hours today...long day! But I am in a couple of shots I am certain of it. One, is where a heckler is yelling at Kevin James, who is shooting the puck between periods and misses on his initial attempt and gets razzed by the heckler (Stand-up comic Steve Byrne) I am seated 3 seats away from Byrne. I am also directly in the shot as Vince Vaughn jumps out of the stands and down towards the Hawks bench and then runs out on the ice (after james MAKES the final attempt)...so Elmhurst Steve will be an identifiable figure in this movie. I probably should have posted this under things nobody cares about, but really I can't wait to see the clips. Fun day even if it was a long day. Looking forward to getting back to "real" work and "real money"....but this was a fun day. Thanks again Harry!!

You are a master of building your brand. It won't be long before they offer to put you up in LA so you can be an extra in all of Vince Vaughn's scenes.

Jerry Stiller is at his best as the one, the only, Frank Costanza.

The King of Queens was not good, but Leah Remini (sp?) was good eye candy.

Thankfully, the filming is over-for me anyway. It was a 15 hour day on Wednesday and a 12 1/2 hour day yesterday. I'm glad to have had an easy day today. Kevin James' sister in law invited me to come to Park west tonight where Vince, Kevin and Steve ( we are on a first name basis of course-not!) are all gonna be doing a stand-up show. But I'm beat and really happy to just be home and have no intention to go back into the city tonight. Gonna take my wife to dinner and see the movie "Salt", then just get to bed early. I know guys like Ron Howard make a lot of money, but my God does he work long days on the set. the actors get time off between scenes, but he's working pretty much all the time. Seems like a really nice guy too. Jennifer Connoly looks awful these days. My goodness is she skinny...I mean anorexic-like. She used to have such a great body and now...the breasts are GONE. It's just sad. I brought a cooler with a sandwich, soft drinks, water and snacks in case I didn't like what they were serving and was tempted to force-feed her the sandwich. it's not a good look. Her face is drawn/gaunt. Her legs looked disturbingly thin and fragile. Cool experience, but I'm not that anxious to do it again too soon. The days are too long and the money isn't nearly good enough. But I can't wait to see the movie and see the scenes I'm in. Then, maybe I'll be more anxious to do it again.
