As a guy who has an interest in the Saloon, CLOSE IT! I can admit it was McNiels! Do something else that brings some attention. Clubhouse, doghouse, lounge, penthouse, and so on! but gotta try and something that gives this time slot some new life! |

Something may happen to this show soon, Mac was reporting on his show that Harry's contract was coming up, and I would say with him getting kicked out at the White Sox game earlier this season, it may not be too good for Harry. I would say if they were going to change the Saloon, you would do it before football season really gets going. |

I think all show hosts should worry less about other people's shows and make their's more entertaining. Ratings be damned... Chicago sportsradio content and entertainment has been lacking the past couple of years and there's no reason for it. |

I think the older shows have just gotten stale. I could go for a rearranging. The newer ones are my favorites. |

Harry can talk about the 26 hits the Brewers got tonight against his beloved Cub. I can't wait for Harry to keep up the tired old bullshit about what an ultracool experience going to Wrigley Field is!!!!!! Those empty green seats all over the Shrine agree with Harry!!!! |

Mac is going to after ESPN and especially Harry, because ESPN let him go and not a big fan of Harry's. Mac does take it personal, and like you put ratings be damned, well that's what advertisers look like when deciding to sponsor shows, Mac's ratings are good, while some of ESPN's radio shows are down, it sounds like most of the Score shows are listened more than ESPN's shows. Mully and Handley over Mike and Mike, Danny Mac show over Silvy and Waddle, and B&B over the Saloon. |

After the draft, everything is on computer and with all the players that cannot be dropped and no trades allowed, anyone could take over. I think he got the position by virtue of doing his Fantasy Football Island show on Sunday mornings, nothing more. |

yawn... sportsradio is nothing more than an audio conduit of people's opinions - and the branding of THE SCORE and ESPN. Who cares what Mac thinks about ESPN, and who cares if Harry doesn't get renewed - the bottom line is the sports teams are the straw that stirs the drink. If they all suck, then the ratings and advertising revenue won't be that great. Just give me something engaging, entertaining, informative and ENJOYABLE. |

I'm not saying I like it. But it's pretty damn obvious that Harry is connected and he's not going anywhere. |
