Wow, nice mugshot douche. I guess Woodridge Ryan got the last laugh? Good thing he hasn't killed somebody yet ESPN sports radio personality Harry M. Teinowitz was arrested late Friday for driving while under the influence of alcohol in north suburban Skokie, police said. Teinowitz, 50, was behind the wheel of a 2011 Nissan Murano driving east in the 3800 block of Greenwood Street when he was pulled over at 11:50 p.m., according to Skokie police Officer Steven Odeshoo. He did not crash and was not injured but was arrested there and later charged with two counts of improper lane usage, one count of DUI and one count of DUI greater than .08. Breathalyzer results showed that Teinowitz’s blood alcohol content was .131, according to Odeshoo. Teinowitz’s driver’s license was taken away and he was issued a $1,000 D-bond, which he posted 10 percent of and was released, the officer said. The Murano was impounded and he is scheduled to appear in Skokie Courthouse on March 23 in room 104 at 1:30 p.m. Teinowitz is a host of The Afternoon Saloon broadcast on weekdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to the ESPN website. |

I'm sure he's been behind the wheel at times with a BAC that was a lot higher than .131 |

Frank Coztansa wrote: was arrested there and later charged with two counts of improper lane usage, Seems odd that you could be charged with two counts of improper lane usage. I mean, if a guy was really drunk, you could probably charge him with 42 counts of improper lane usage. I've never seen that. |

To his credit, he doesn't look like a fat old lesbian anymore. Or is the picture just squashed? |

Too bad he didn't sexually harrass a co-worker multiple times, instead. That's the only way ESPN will get rid of you......unless you're Mike Tirico |

"Ociffer, Harry...." This is what's called a wake up call. Hopefully Harry realizes this, as he's the father of two young kids. C'mon Harry... |

Damn.....the hangover is just beginning.....these just aren't court supervision and walk out the door anymore...between his employer and the Court System, he could wind up in a program.... |

If that didn't do it, I'm not sure this will either. I'd be surprised to hear him on the air today. I'd also be surprised if Carmen said anything other than, "Harry is off today." |

I feel sorry for him.....and throwing stones at him does not fly with me... a lot of folks on this board have been lucky....the odds of headlights in your rear view mirror being those of the Police rise exponentially in the suburbs after 10:00 pm. |

He was clearly driving erratically. It's not like this was a DUI checkpoint. Also, he wasn't exactly at .08 here. I say he deserves all the stones thrown especially with his reputation. |

Oh I've been behind the wheel many times when I shouldn't have been. Of course, I was not leaving a paid appearance in Joliet when I had to drive home to Skokie either. Nas from the best of my memory, WR was at a remote or appearance Harry was drinking of course. WR asked him if he was OK to get home and Harry took offense to that. Somehow, talk of the exchange between Harry and WR made it on the air. I don't remember the story exactly, so don't quote me on this. The threads about probably still exist and I hope another poster can correct the story if I'm wrong. |

Yeah that is the gist of it, I just don't remember if there was more to it or not. I'd try to go back and find the threads but I don't even remember an approximate date to look for. |
