Hitting buttons and turn on the Saloon this afternoon and here is Crazed Silverman filling in screaming that White Sox fans should be OUTRAGED at Kenny Williams for trading for Jake Peavy!!!
Somebody explain to Cubbie FANBOY Silvy that these Divisional Races don't end in APRIL, MAY, JUNE, JULY OR AUGUST.
#1......I am NOT outraged.....if Peavy comes back and pitches well in JULY, I am fine with it.
#2......If I was OUTRAGED.....WHO THE FUCK CARES?
#3......What does a SERIOUS DEDICATED Cubbiefanboy like Silvy do to show his OUTRAGE at Jim Hendry
for trading for Cardiac Carlos Silva...extending Crazed Carlos Zambrano....giving Stiff Alphonso
Soriano a contract almost as lengthy as Gadhafi's?
Hopefully Silvy will tell us the proper way for a fan to show outrage!!!!!!

Cub fan Terry Boers has the Cubs as his "surprise" NL team. So do I. I'll be surprised if they don't lose 90 games. I thought the Score was supposed to be WSOX. It's shit like this that I'm talking about. I don't know what the fuck the Cubs might do. Teams that look shitty end up better than you think all the time. But if the Sox' prospects were as atrocious as the Cubs' seem to be, there wouldn't be one guy on Chicago radio talking about how they were going to surprise. B&b would simply say, "White Sox... Bad". But there's this groundswell of optimism for the Cubs. Not just now, but every fuckin' year. Hell, Boers still thinks they're gonna win the 2010 Wild Card. It doesn't sound like WSOX to me.

Typical Hooterville bullshit to have the media vomit up the Spring Training optimism...especially for the Cubs, but it is also pure Hooterville media to forget the previous season over the Winter.
As I recall, the Cubs led the Hemisphere in physical and mental errors in 2010.
Quade must have found a magic wand in Bernstein's stat books.
The Cubs played STUPID in 2010...called out on it by Brenly.....so Winter now cures BRAIN DEAD according to Boers!!!!!!! :lol:

i don't listen to silverman's show, too gay for me. but peavy's contract is a bad one, kenny fucked up. you bring pitchers from the al to nl not vice versa. however, jim hendry has probably signed 3 worse contracts than peavys. does he criticize spendry and the shitty job he has done?

I don't think Silvy was being completely serious. At the time it happened it was a great deal but now seeing how Peavy is looking more and more like Mark Pryor its been a bad one. Will anyone be surprised if Peavy doesn't play the whole season?

Silvy has taken managers, players and GMs to task more than any other talker in this town. Hendry is his favorite target. Did you want special HOOTERVILLE treatment for the Sox?
