Maybe I didn't look hard enough, but didnt see Afternoon Saloon out in Wrigleyville on a Friday for opener? or Ilinois Tax Payers Park! Chance for a great live rouckus show with drunken Cub fans and rain??

I understand why to a point, but time for ESPN to get off pot or shit regarding this issue with Harry.

I am not calling for his ousting or retain him, but how long are they going to debate it? and how is this going to change a show that sees beer companies as a major , if not the major, source of revenue? Or the name of the show alone??

Going to be the THE AFTERNOON BOOK CLUB?

would anyone else outside of Mickey, get this type of benefit of the doubt?

Easy fix. Letty Harry drink all he wants and be a constant buffoone and be the Drinky Frontman. Hire a personal assistant/driver for him.

Pretty sure I would rather listen to THE AFTERNOON BOOK CLUB rather than anything having to do with Tiny

Wouldn't that be reserved for Bernsey's solo show? Could be that or Doug's properly coined nickname "Dictionary Face".

I honestly see no way Harry can retain his position. This will be a great footnote in the history of nepotism if Harry somehow still has an afternoon gig on the Disney sports radio network.

I don't see any confusion. Harry went to rehab. He will be back on the air when it is over within a couple of weeks. He will still be able to broadcast from bars and have beer companies as sponsors just as several of the other recovering alcoholics in sports radio do.

Jalen Rose, of ESPN just got his DUI last night after smashing his car. Just saying

It wasn't a DUI last night. It was suspicion of DUI a few weeks ago after he refused a breathalyzer test after crashing his car. The news of it is just coming out now.

He went to rehab before they could fire him. Now they can't. I'm sure the mouse has some sort of employee help program where you volunteer to go in and they can't fire you.

Say what you want about Harry. He's certainly not stupid. Or if he is, at least he has access to great advice.

Ironic that rehab is the way to keep the party going.

It doesn't sound like a health-conducive place to work. Setting up shop in various bars, bistros, restaurants... and then be expected to socialize with the fans.

You a) figure a way for him not to go to these events, whilst still being on-air talent, you b) send him to different pubs and expect him to do okay with some Perrier (I call bullshit on this), you c) send him to some other department. For some reason "Sales" comes to mind, and that's as bad as doing remotes for the amount of entertaining done.

Safest route would be to put him into Hood's slot, and don't do remotes. Then if he fails, its not due to unsafe work conditions.

Having said all that, I'm hoping Harry pulls through.

I don't know if Harry was at the game, but this is one of the days he would loved to still be on the radio, since it's opening day at Wrigley.
