Called in today at around 4. Pretty funny, way better than Steve in Elmhurst.

So what'd he say, in a nutshell?

TrueStoryBro .....

I was certain that I was in line behind the Gridiron Assassin at the WalMart pharmacy line the other night, standing there with his oily ... er, curly locks not blowing in the lack of wind since we were indoors ... then he turned around ... it ends up being a dyke.

How would I know that for certain? Easy - wearing a powder-blue Chicago Sky cap.

I was sitting a few rows behind Gridiron at a Sox game last month. I was pretty sure it was him but it would be awkward walking up to a random guy and saying "Hi, Gridiron". Anyway our eyes met from across a crowded room. He knew it was me. I knew it was him. Alas we were two ships passing in the night and our welcomes went unrequited.

Too bad you weren't in a bathroom stall. You could have tapped your foot to say hi.

If memory serves, the Gridiron Assassin display in the Chicago Sports Talk Radio Caller Hall of Fame is merely a bowl of vanilla ice cream in a plain white room.

The real gem of the CSTRCHOF is the newly-opened Elmhurst Steve Wing, aka THE BRAND EXPERIENCE!.... that's right, no mere exhibit or display can capture the essence of the man, the myth, the legend that is THE BRAND so roughly 60% of the museum is dedicated to the man who taught us all how to call sports talk radio shows.

Here's an old flyer from late 09, I believe...

I believe he blew some carbon off the pistons - and in a clean radio friendly way said the following:

A) Fuck Chester Taylor, cut him at the last possible minute, the piece of shit stole $7Million from the Bears last year for 2.2 yards per carry.

B) If Lance Briggs wants more money - then fuck him too. Suck it bitch.

C) Enough with this meaningless football, let the regular season begin STAT.

...something to that effect.

To know for sure you are in the presence of the Assassin, just ask him what Bears Qb threw the most playoff TD's and if he says Sid Luckman...that's Grid :D

That's not a fair thing to say. You really should apologize. Don Tiny is an above average poster.
