Will be taking place on Saturday August 25th, at the Horseshoe Casino/Hotel in Hammond, Indiana. It begins at 10:00am and will feature people like John Clayton, Matthew Berry and Stephania Bell. This is the 3rd year it will take place at this venue and it's always a very fun event. Guys from the radio station like Jurko, Carmen (hopefully Harry is back in the position of Commissioner) as well as Waddle Sarah Spain and Silvy, will participate as speakers and partake in a celebrity draft. The draft actually takes place in the afternoon after a break for lunch. It is the single biggest event the station puts on each year and in my opinion easily the best. |

Should I attend this, a bowling gala where I am the guest of honor, or a Bears dinner that I bought a new dress and shoes for? |

You seem to lack the knowledge of Football needed to do well at something like this, so I would say Bowling might be best for you. The new dress and shoes for you would be like a bow and lipstick on a pig, so rule that out.....Definitely the Bowling for you. |

Look We know you think you're kind of a big deal and all, what with multiple shows (just not the best one in the city) taking your same mundane bullshit calls on a daily basis. You're a typical jagoff cop, only now you just paint houses. Meh. Have fun sucking on Stephenia Bell's cock and creaming yourself to John Clayton's Bristol rhetoric. Enjoy. I hope you take a great amount of pleasure in wasting a beautiful summer day sitting in the ballroom of a Holiday Inn or something in "beautiful" Northwest Indiana. Oh and of course, hanging out with the cream of the crop from the Star Trek Convention reject pile. I can only assume you'll also be looking to dominate them in bowling or some sort of equestrian event. It's cool. Just don't let Mac know you're hanging out with Teinowitz...you may not be allowed back in to finish the "paint job". Later. |

You don't need to go to that turd convention to get a goof FF team.. I can do that right here for you and I have only played FF one time, and it was like 6-7 years ago but most of it is common sense mixed in with non injury luck. |

I might stop by on my way to the boats or Industrial Strip if someone gave me a free ticket. There would be no way I'd pay to get into this nerdfest. |

Oh, I dont know....I think Elmhurst Steve trying to deride someone else's intelligence has a certain unintended comedy to it. Plus, Spaulding looks smokin hot in a dress. |

And Steve probably thinks a pig wearing a blue ribbon is hot as mess. Its actually a good thing Steve is going to this thing, because earlier today he displayed once again that he cannot add or multiply correctly.......or even use a calculator |

Their main expert Matthew Berry was WAY off on his overall number 1 pick last year in Michael Vick. Kills all hope of ever trusting that guy again. |

Maybe you, me and Spaulding can sit at a table and make fun of all the FF geeks walking by......who am I to talk though being a Star Wars nerd that likes cats? Still, could be a good time. So, what exactly happens here for the non FF type of person? |

I disagreed with Berry's opinion on that pick, but I could see his point. Vick (as he said) basically gets you both QB and RB numbers. It's like having an extra RB in your lineup every week. But I reminded him (while talking to him during the break for lunch, before the draft)of Vick's frailty and how piss poor Vick was as a QB in Atlanta. If I were taking a QB with a first round pick, it would be Rodgers not Vick. John Clayton said some things that I took issue with too, but sometimes I like that they say things I think are stupid. I just hope it serves to influence negatively, some guys in the league I am assigned to. I think the most valuable information comes from Stephania Bell. She correctly called Peyton Manning's situation and always has valuable information about the recovery status of the players coming off injuries. Bottom line, is it's a fun day. |

andyROONEY wrote: Steve, you are the single worst, everything that is wrong with, radio listener/caller in the history of all talk radio. You are such an idiot and it is pathetic. The post might carry a bit more weight if it were done in an intelligible manner. This mess reads like it was the product of some high school dropout under the influence of some drug/alcohol combination. I know you felt some stupid need to post in every section here on the board, but at least try to make the posts seem like they were something other than a half-hearted waste of time. In this thread, a posting that had something to do with the ESPN Fantasy Football convention, or Fantasy Football alone would have seemed a lot more appropriate. |

What is the point in trying to post in every section? Does it bother you when I post after you and force you to have to post again, to try to ensure you have the last post in every section? |

The great irony of this is that Steve comes off as one of those high school jocks that laughed at "NERDS. NERDS. NERDS." and now here he is a 40 year old man attending something just as nerdy as any dungeons and dragons tournament while spending his week calling multiple radio shows nearly daily. The question is what would high school Elmhurst Steve do to this incarnation of Elmhurst Steve? Oh yeah, he misrepresents bowling scores on the internet and brags about being inducted into a softball hall of fame he had to pay to get a ticket to. To all those kids out there in high school, it gets better, or at least it gets worse for others. |

A high-rolling local celebrity such as Steve will most certainly not be paying to attend. He will be comped. It's quite a prestigious endowment. Just like as the date approaches, ESPN staffers will once again be giving away handfuls of free tickets at every remote and many street corners, in an attempt to not look ridiculous by presenting a nearly empty room to the national ESPN "celebrities." |

Second, Spaulding is hotter than you are athletic. I intend no insult to Spaulding by setting the bar so low. Third, you've never written an intelligent post about football on this board in your life. Let's see some of your Knowledge of Football this season. I'll be especially interested in your takes when the all-22 comes out. |
