The Hawks try to tie the all-time mark for number of games unbeaten to open a season against the Canucks. With a win, they actually will surpass the number of points the 2006-07 Ducks earned in the initial 16 games, as the Canucks went 12-0-4 to earn 28 points, while the Hawks can get to 29 points with a win (13-0-3).
