i owe a buddy $20 cuz the cheifs made the playoffs. he'll get nickels and dimes. but only because its 20..maybe 30. anything more than that would be a check or 10s and higher. the last bet i lost was for 15 bucks. i wrote the guy a check for $14.98, and gave him 2 pennies. in the memo section of the check i wrote "for being a good boyfriend" i think thats an equally good a burn as the 1/2 ton of nickles and dimes. |

Gosh, I don't know. If I was dumb enough to make a bet for that much and lost, I think I'd be a man about it and pay with cash (larger bills). I wouldn't pout or bitch and moan like Jurko has been doing for the past month or so. |

I love putting stuff on the memo line - my buddy that runs our fantasy leagues hates the looks he gets at the bank. My favorite to write is "Dead Hooker Cleanup" |

It is pretty weak how they paid Harry. I think it shows their real dislike for him. Mac and Jurko wouldn't pay each other in this manner. |

I have to agree. I like to bash Harry as much as the next guy, but he nailed this one and deserves every penny. |

i think part of the reason they paid is because the bet was on turnoversauras rex. they figure if a guy can play as bad as rex has at different times this year, and thats the way harry won his money, then he's gonna have to work to turn that into 'real' cash |

On a side note, has their ever been a jersey created that would fit Harry? I have seen innumerable pictures of the guy in jerseys of every sort and every single one of them is tight across the midsection. Harry, rugby is an excellent sport and the jerseys have plenty of give. I think you should start to become a fan. |

I have one guaranteed to fit him. I bought a Jerry Rice Mississippi Valley State jersey off eBay, but didn't pay attention to the details - it was a 4X. It has just sat in its packaging since I couldn't return the damn thing. I would send it to him, but he is a fan of skill players like kickers and punters Coincidentally, if anyone is interested in a Jerry Rice college jersey, PM me.... |

Have you seen him in a baseball jersey or a hockey sweater? You have to be constantly vigilant around him in a button down for fear of one of the buttons embedding itself in your skull. It is more a general problem with Harry. I think it would be great if they started buying him basketball jerseys. |

I'd probably be pretty vengeful after losing 2 Gs, so I don't have any problems with it. I think its funny while bordering on dick-dom. |

There is such a concept as taking your losses like a mature adult. I'd buy the guy a nice dinner and give him 20 crisp Benjamins. I think this whole thing is just childish nonsense. They get some satisfaction out of jerking Harry around? Classless in my book. Mac and Jurko both seem to have an inner child that comes out in the strangest ways. |

I call it good radio. We're still talking about this bet. It wouldn't even be a topic if they hadn't paid him this way. |

I don't think that this one gets filed under "radio bit." They're just being dicks about it (more Jurko than Mac). Harry has every right to bitch about it. Harry took most of the risk in this bet and he should be rewarded properly. Of course, they could have just gotten him a $4000 gift certificate to John Chico's Menswear... |

If Mac or Jurko would dare to pay their bookies off in such a fashion, then it is okay. I think it is fairly harmless. I have taken over $1000 in coins to a bank before without a problem. It would not really be an issue if Harry took it in good fun. |

I lost almost a hundred bucks to Jurko in a fantasy football sidebet a few years ago ($1 a point in head to head matchups). I paid him in a nice stack of crisp singles. You can bring them to a print shop and they'll put the gummy edge on them like a notepad. Do you think any clerk would take a dollar bill that you pull off of a 'notepad'? Strippers don't care one way or the other... |

[[quote]quote="The Gridiron Assassin"]Strippers don't care one way or the other...[/quote Hard to find strippers who give lap dances for a buck these days. I was at Vip's a few weeks back and could not get a sniff for less than a $20 spot. In Windsor they'll dance for shots . Love Canada. Off the topic for a second. The had a valet service at Life- time fitness this morning and I said to the girl at the counter "Has it gotten to the point people can't walk into a health club"? Her response was 'It's more for the 300lbs members who can't make it accross the parking lot".. I'm still laughing at that one . |

they should have made this an email contest id have given harry about 25 personal checks for all sorts of different amounts so that he (or an intern...) has to sign each one, right his account# on each one, then fill out one of those silly little deposit slip at the bank. jurko should have included some silver dollars, sacagawea dollars, and susan b anthony dollars in that water jug |
