Sorry if anybody feels slighted... but I used the downtime to recharge and the back-to-the-saltmine mentality last week took me away from the board. I will file answers by week's end. Thanks for your continued interest, support at remote broadcasts and for listening.

Thanks Mac. Be sure to address the Salibury dick-phone story. I'd love to hear that rant.

Cool Mac.

Did anyone catch the winner of the "Bears Reality Show"? I just caught the end but did "Lovie Smith's Fear Factor" win?

I am salivating for some steak and thought I heard that was the winner.

That was a good one, Doc. They all got a big belly laugh when they read it on the air. I, however, did not hear who won (yours was the strongest entry though).

Well played.

Mac, I'll give you two answers, and you can supply the question:

A) Thunderstruck

B) Thank you Brent and Brian

Now you supply the questions.

Actually, xstyle, that would be "you're such a hard-working...." not "your."

LOL, Mac's a bigger grammar dick than me; though I'll admit, it's hard not to correct your/you're or there/their/they're mistakes. I also want to punch people in the face when they use the phrase "should have went."

How about "should of" instead of "should have"

Maybe Mac should do a segment where he just takes calls for an hour about favorite grammatical errors.

He could call it Thursday Thrills. :D

Thank you Mackey Fish! I missed you. You mean more to me than words could ever say!! You're truly the Mac Daddy!
Please don't go away like that anymore, I was worried to death about you.
Without you, I'm just another name without a face.
You make me complete.

I assume Mac had you at HELLO?

Well, that's more a dialectal thing; you could say "should have" and it could come out sounding very much like "should of," due to the unofficial contraction "should've." That said, if someone wrote "should of," he'd certainly deserve mockery.

Ha. KS can be that sometimes but I just take this as pure sarcasm. I'm kind of on the same page with him. Everyone freaks out about Mac on this board and about his postings. I found his post funny.

You should be more concerned with the content of your posts....Grossman out of the league in five years...Koy Detmer and Vinnie Testaverde both took snaps this weekend.

Grossman's a hell of a lot closer to being Koy Detmer than Vinnie Testaverde. 5 years is a long time in the NFL, and Turnoverasaurus is already in his 4th season. Detmer's sat behind one of the league's premier QB's for the bulk of his career; Grossman will bounce around a bit and eventually be dropped.

Can we contain this argument to one thread in one forum? I can't go anywhere on this board without some comment about Rex. Its only a matter of time before it gets into that Japanese bikini pie fighting thread
