They're replaying it now. Rose is always a guy with good stories. Rose was in town after being in Rosemont for the convention over the weekend. Anyway, he was talking about how he made 7k when he was a rookie in 1963. He said "You guys are paying me more to do this show than what I made as a rookie." He wasn't kidding. I knew they paid the guys when they do these 1 hour "Lunch with a Legend" shows. Obviously. But I would have guessed maybe 2k. Over 7k for one hour? Wow. Pretty good. Do they really make that back in the 1 hour of advertising for that show? Especially when you take into account what Jurko and Carmen are making for that day. I would think not. |
