Is it me or does Mac seem edgy today ?? I love it .. He's about a caller or two away from blowing a gasket.

I commend Mac for not hanging up on that hair-splitter, shotgunning him and calling him a dope.

That's for the show down the dial ... I just got pulled in the office for being an asshole to a co-worker so I blame it on the weather.

STU, did you explain that you're an asshole to everyone? That's what I generally do, it seems to work.....

I think it has to do with the needling TB did yesterday over the snow day.

I predict a "kiss my sack" moment in the offing.

That guy was a dope... then again Mac didn't seem to be able to come up with much of a response. He could have pointed out that there's a big difference between the willful ignorance of a bigot and the dictionary meaning of the word.

I guess he 'ten-upped' Mac.

I think he just let the idiocy speak for itself. I mean, seriously, some arguments don't even merit a response. That dude was a grade-A moron.

MY H.R. people Knew this before I closed the door behind me . We played a joke on a guy and he got pissed and bitched.

He brought his sack lunch today and made the mistake of putting a note on the fridge that no one dare touch it..Big Mistake.. I took his ham sanchwhich out and took 3 bites out of it and put it back , plus we shook his can of pop up and it exploeded on him and his desk ..

I have a written warning in my file and a unpaid day off on Monday. Plus me an another guy have to pay for his lunch tomorrow.

Think I'm long for this company ?

That dude sounds like a winner. He puts notes on his lunch, tattles on you, and can't find the humor in it.

He should have thanked you for trying to bring to light what a pu$$ he is. People are so stupid.

Tom actually made good points and expressed them well. He was right about what he said. He defined the word 'ignorant' correctly and Mac couldn't fight back on it. Of course he resorted to immaturity when he responded to Tom " I'm starting to hate you now". Tom kept his composure like a pro responding "Why Mac...because I am disagreeing with you?" Mac...thanks for fighting your way into work today champ though that snowbound wasteland of NW Indiana...how did you ever get that SUV out of that heated garage?....but you lost this one tough guy.

Didn't catch much of the show today. Assuming this has to do with the Hardaway story. Was caller Tom one of those guys explaining why it's okay to hate homosexuals?

No, he tried to claim Mac was 10X worse because he hates ignorant people.

it was an amusing exchange but i think mac let it go too long. he should have cut the guy off, and what puzzled me is that he usually does, fairly quickly. i guess the guy had to say something like "thanks for taking my call, i just woke up from a nap!" in order to get snapped.

the guy's point was that mac is a hypocrite for saying he hates ignorant people yet is bashing some guy for hating gays. not really the same argument. The guy should have said "mac, hate is hate, and hate is wrong anyway. you shouldn't hate anyone if you're complaining about hatred for someone else." But he didn't, and probably doesn't call into radio shows very often. Thought he had a good point, but didn't put it out there very well, and sounded like a fool.

life goes on.
