Ryan, Mongo was pissed because on Super Bowl Sunday he was wrapping up with Chet and getting ready to trek out to Blackjack Gentlemen's Club, and they didn't want him to go because the remote from the Park West was up in the air (bad ISDN? I dunno).

So the real question is did he make it to Blackjacks?

and then what's become of him. Maybe he's sick of hearing that the Super Bowl XX Bears wanted the Bears to lose so they could remain employed. So he's faded into bolivian - as Mike Tython would say.

Maybe he's just upset Dent didn't get into the Hall again....

I wouldn't worry too much. Mongo has been a space cadet as long as anyone can remember. He probably took off for some sunny location with Chula

Friday before last (Feb 9) I'd swear I saw Mongo walking through O'hare (Terminal 2, E gates, around 11-11:30 AM). Now I've never seen him in person but heard his voice plenty times on the radio. And I've seen him on TV a couple times.

He said something to the lady he was with (nice looking blonde lady) and his voice is what I first recognized. The rest kind of fit into place: large guy, walking a bit slow (old football injuries?), dressed well, etc.
My guess was that he was flying off to see the ProBowl.

Since it's now been discussed on MJH a few times I figured I'd throw this out there in case it's useful to anyone.
