I listened to this show this morning for seven minutes. They were talking about which four teams would make the college football playoff. In those seven minutes, they made me hate sports.

It's disappointing that the local alternative is so bad (because of Mike Mulligan) that I flipped to FM instead of them.

The only solid sports guy on the SCORE daily is Brian Hanley. No mean insults and solid sports opinions. He's been at it a long time, too. I don't mind Mully too much either.

Mike & Mike is fine. It's vanilla background noise as I'm showering or on my way to work. It's much-preferred to Screamy and Bad Jokey.

They are most certainly NOT fine.

I am sorry to say that you leave me with no choice but to wish you a slightly less Merry Christmas than I originally intended.

Your choice. Seven minutes of Mike, Mike, and Rece Davis, or seven minutes of Mully, Hanley, and Dustin Rhodes?

My problem with the show revolves on three main issues:
-It is national in focus,
-They create contrived arguments with one host playing the devil's advocate (usually Greenie),
-They love to debate stupid rankings/lists

I don't mind the national focus, since I care about 1.5 of the local teams.

The national focus is not a problem - only so much Chicago sports talk I can handle. The scripted arguments are awful.

The Dan Patrick show is so much better than this show. You have to stream it in Chicago but at least you won't hate yourself.

I don't mind the national focus, but the contrived arguments and debating of lists are absolutely awful.

As a lifelong Chicagoan who only cheers for Chicago teams, I have no daily interest in sports outside the area. The guys in the office who come from other areas actually like ESPN because they provide national coverage.

I am glad you guys agree about my other issues with the show because it makes for a tough listen each day.

There are other choices.
