Mr Walton, "what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul." I feel like i need a cigarette after listening to that and I don't even smoke. |

I actually am I closet Bill Walton fan. I could listen to him talk about nothing for at least a good hour. It's far more entertaining then half the tangents..wait..all the tangents Mike and Mike trail off to |

My bad, sorry to rip on your boy. I lived with three potheads for a couple years and guess I've just had enough. |

buryman, your point is completely valid. Most people hate this guy. i couldn't stand him when he worked for NBC. I think it's more of, by comparison, Bill Walton Ramblings > Mike & Mike "I'm fat, you're a woman" ramblings |

Ramblings are ramblings. M&M are retards and I don't know how but even though they are on I tune them out half the time until they have guests on. Their schtick goes in one ear and out the other for me. Kind of like household chores when i was a kid. |

I'm torn about Walton. He was a great player when healthy. As a veteran with the Celtics he was a great role player. He is a Deadhead. It is who he is. He is also very educated and he actually waxes poetic every once in a while. Sometimes he tries too hard and that's what it sounded like this morning; but I still enjoyed it. He was referencing lyrics and images of some Dead songs. I would have to hear the interview again but he was using Dead lyrics to make his oratory and visual point. I went to many Dead shows back in the day so listening to another Deadhead is refreshing once in a whole. Walton is definatly not for everyone, but there is a niche for him as well. |

Did you see the photos (on espn1000) from M&M's last visit. Quite the crowd of Chicago fans! As to Bill Walton - depends on my mood as to whether I'll listen to him or not. However his best bit on M&M was a 14 minute or so ramble which did not allow either Mike to ask a question during his visit. Phenomenal. |
